I'm trying to find the name of those pants I see messengers around town wearing. I'd rather not bring extra clothes with me when I commute.

They usually come a third of the way up the calf, are slightly baggy, and have a drawstring at the ankle. I haven't seen any in clothing shops and figured you guys would know the name. If there are specific brands that you can recommend, please do.

Thanks. :)

They are called capris.(pronounced CAPREEES)

Airwalk makes a good set.

Also... knickers... Mountain Equipment Coop (http://www.mec.ca/Products/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=482395&bmUID=1035992628589) has some, these are them...

They look kinda pricey, but remember that's Canadian metric dollars.

I prefer lycra knickers, but that's me...

Lots of guys wear them. Go to a popular beach on the west coast. Skaters, surfers, bmxers all wear them at times.

Girls look better in them though.

Exactly what I was looking for. Even has a bike pad.

I couldn't find the Airwalk version.

They may have discontinued. Besides the MEC stuff is far better quality. :)
