Recreational & Family - Looking for feedback on Palm Imports Quad

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
There is a bike similar in look to the very expensive ZEM quad. It can be seen on:
http://www.palmimports.com/Merchant...Category_Code=B
I know Overstock.com is also selling it.
Does anybody have any feedback on this bike? Is it ok in quality?
Thanks much!

Back in the 1980s I worked with the builder of a 4 man recumbent with body by Pinaforina. He had recruited 8 track cyclists on the national team and was trying to break 65 MPH on a flat road. They never got over 62 MPH. Problems were blowing tires due to weight of quad and 4 big men, also rotten steering - only good for straight. I looked at the ZEM bike and it looks like the front wheels turn in parallel for skid steering instead of a proper Ackerman linkage like cars use. Tires will wear faster and the bike will use more power. My trike had two front wheels with the proper linkage and turns easily. It costs less? You get what you pay for. Your link did not work so I googled quads and found a whole bunch of them. Do some more research. Find a place that rents quads and try one, fully loaded.
I would consider a normal tandem if the captain does not have some disability. There are 3, 4, and 5 person machines out there.
