I'm new to the bicycle enthusiast scene. So, this may be common place, but I still found it pleasing.
I put too much tension on the spring screw on my Avid cantilever brakes and stripped the screw. I looked for them at a couple of places around town and couldn't find one that fit perfectly. When I called them expecting to pay several dollars for the screws they shipped out the spring assembly free of charge.
I've ordered 'cheap' proprietary replacement parts from other non-bike-related companies and paid what was probably 5 to 10 times the value of the part.
I thought this was worth sharing. It's nice to see companies do this sort of thing. Reminds me of alot of the local businesses in my city.
