just joined wheelworks multisport out of belmont ma. very excited! cant wait to start training with people and competing. just letting everyone know. btw, is anyone else on a team? what can i expect? any other comments? word.

Quite by accident I discovered the existence of the Seattle Triathlon club late last fall. A good thing, since otherwise I only know 2-3 triathletes in this area. Since it's only January things are a little slow, but organized swim workouts start next week, we have a regular 8-10 mile run on Saturday mornings (followed by blueberry pancakes and eggs at a nearby cafe), a nice website for getting the word out about club events and discussion forums (http://www.seatri.org), and one of the long-time members has done a great job so far this year lining up discounts for supporting (paid) members and lining up sponsors for team clothing.
