Found an easy to build design at www.atomiczombie.com. Only took one weekend to build it from two donor bikes from the landfill. Cost me $25 to build and paint the whole thing, plus gel seats for the long rides. The health benefits are priceless, of course.

Pictures? How does it ride/handle? Weight?
Don't have a digital camera but this one is pretty close to mine
http://www.atomiczombie.com/book-bonanza.htm
I'd guess it's well under 20lbs, I can lift it off the ground with one arm, so very lightweight and handles so well. We go for rides for 2-3 hours and still get a good workout. Found identical frames at the dump and bought a new knobby back tire. No probs handling at all. I added mirrors on the handlebars, tho. Beauty is I can also take this out solo and never feel drag even if I'm the only one peddling.
