Needing a 130mm 5 bolt pattern. Anything from 44-47 tooth. Not much on ebay... I take it 130mm is kinda rare? Im looking for green and thought I had one till they said it was actually 125mm... either way, anything but silver or black.. surely there's a company that manufactures colored chainrings, right?

Someone might chime in with a manufacturer that makes color rings but if you don't find one you can always have them anodized yourself. Check the phonebook for someone local.

Awww, terrapin beat me to it. My friends did that with some paintball gun bodies. It's really easy to mess up if you don't follow the directions and do everything correctly. That said, it's not that hard.
The results weren't fantastic, but it definitely achieved the goal of adding a little pizzaz to aluminum.

i know it's not a chainring, but when you said green i thought of these... if you're in here you're running one speed anyway.

just bought a gold chainring, 44t. 30 bucks shipped, new.
It's the only color I can see working on current bike and the next one I plan on putting together.
As soon as I get a j.o.b... and.. move to highpoint, nc.. dammit.. that's too long to wait.

i farkin' love those things. got other stuff to spend my money on though, and the idea of a proprietary ring design isn't exactly appealing to me.

Anodizing at home is a big mistake with poor results waiting to happen. Krylon and some masking tape would seriously work better.

"Z-chain" has many colors of chain. They're cheap chain, but they're chain.
