Hi

Just ordered a 28 hole 126 mm Goldtec rear track hub and am wondering about spoke lengths for building into a Mavic Open Pro rim (standard 3 cross pattern).

Been talking to someone at betd and they said 294 mm although they didn't ask what pattern.

I was just fiddling with Rinard's spocalc - it has an entry for the 135mm hub and, using it, I get 297.9 mm spokes. Flange diameters will be the same. And, if you take the Phil Wood track hub (120/126/130), the hub width is the same too (so just spaced as necessary), not that it affects the calculation dramatically.

It's the end of the working day here, but it's got me thinking now ... ~ 4mm is quite a big difference.

Anyone out there with experience?

Cheers

ccc

wait until you get the hub, measure it with a micrometer, plug the numbers into a spoke calc. voila. the easiest way to do it.
