Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Photos: My new favourite t-shirts (big ups to 165mm_49_16)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

My new t-shirts came from 165mm_49_16 who's currently in SF. You may know him from such bikes as the Ciocc (http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/2005/jan/chow10.htm), Romani (http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/2006/jan/GARRETTCHOW.htm) and the 2007 PISTA (http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/2005/apr/GARRETTCHOW.htm).

Big ups to G, super quality silkscreens -- provided by the_loin.

i wouldn't mind having that 531 shirt. simplistic and classic.

I like the designs. The shirts would be waaay better if screened on American Apparel shirts, though.

The middle one is. The others were screened in the Netherlands.

Frankly, I don't care too much for American Apparel. Dov Charney is a creep.

Dope. Now we don't have to spend 20 euros to get them from Keirin Cycle Culture Cafe (http://www.keirinberlin.de/Keirin_Boutique15.html).

I suppose I'll have to wait for shirts with Columbus PL or the Raleigh-branded 531 (Raleigh 555) labels if I want to keep it real.

what EXACTLY about masturbating 8 times in front of a female journalist do you find so off-putting? you prude, you!

glad you're feeling the shirts! thanks for all the kind words. it was a small side-project that's seeming to unfold more and more by the day!

unfortunately, i ran so few of each design, that everything was sold out almost instantly. i DO however, have the hubs shirts in stock still...

i JUST finished the below design. i'm running them in metallic silver on gray shirts, and metallic gold on black for that extra bling. the last hub in the lower right hand is a place-holder for the dura-ace 10 pitch groupo that will ultimately be there. anyone got a head-on shot of a dura-ace 10 they could send?! dolface? these should be done next week, hopefully!

Nice shirt...but no Superbes?

Hmm... I'd either ixnay the Miche or Formulas for that... or sub that last one with Superbe's.

if you look at that design and move your eyes around, it kinda looks like the hubs rotate... optical illusions!

question
if you wear one of this fella's lovely shirts to the track, or to an alleycat... is that kind of like wearing the band's shirt to their show?

That only counts if you bought it at said event. We will all know you are "that dude" because the shirt will still be crunchy new and unwashed.

thanks a TON! that would really help. doesn't matter if it's laced or un-laced. it's just for reference... you don't have a superbe sitting around either, do you?!

guys, good call on the miche ixnay. in all honesty i wasn't feeling that one either, the superbe slipped my mind. i will swap those two...

and the formula is in fact a paul. all good.

so you could support the biggest ****** on the planet dov charney? what a chod!

their **** is nice, but that doesn't make the art better or worse.

on a side note, where did you find vectors of the columbus and 531 decals? i've been digging like crazy!

thanks! donno. the reynolds and columbus shirts are kinda rough: they're three-colour jobs, so i pretty much end up eating what little profit i'd make on those --not that that's my motivation-- they end up being mad expensive to do in such small runs. however, it seems like people were really feeling those, so i may just do some more... i'll keep BFSFG updated, if i do...

yeah, please do, i like those alot. not such a fan of the hub shirt (i mean its actually awesome, but i usually don't like shirts with stuff all over the place), and the others are just sooooo sexy.

keep up the good work dude.

Don't know anything about Dov Charney except that he was in the adult entertainment industry. I like his clothes and have no opinion on the man.

And I agree, the art is nice, and the shirt it is screened on makes no difference in the fact that the shirts are nicely painted. I just like the fit of a good old american apparel medium t-shirt.
