To limit confusion and thread deraillment, ALL talk of my glorious thighs should be kept in here.
I'll start:
Damn Cypress, you have some big thighs. What is your max?
how much does cypress ride?

Men call them quads, the term 'thighs' seems to give an air of fatness.. just bustin you balls man, no harm-no foul
This thread will only lead to trouble. I expect to see it closed and in the bin within 10 posts or less.

Yeah, I thought only chicks had 'thighs', used in such terms as, "thunder-thighs," "pudgy-thighs," etc. Expat is right, this thread can only go downhill from here.
But it's the fall from grace that makes your highs seem so good....by the way treespeed, like your quote -The Gulag Archipelago?

If you want to think I'm a chick, that's fine. I am probably the ugliest female you could ever conjure up.
Anybody else think thats kind of big for a chicken?
15-20 hours a week right now.
sounds like your letting the thighs go to waste, and after seeing above pic, aint nothing special dude

As I've said before, my racing season isn't for another 3-4 months.
Montana winters last 9 months.

And you own Discovery bib shorts. Way to go, you just made your self look like a bigger weenie. I'm not even going to address what else is going on in the picture.

Also, your arms and upper body are not tiny. Who do you race for?

I hope it doesn't derail this thread, but not by a long shot...

That's impossible as long as I'm alive. :D
So...when do you lose those 30 some odds pounds and go down to race weight?
Does anyone wanna venture a guess as to why a heart rate monitor and malt liquor are in the same picture?

About the shorts...They were given to me by a friend, and turns out they are way more comfy to train in than my sponsor kit. Notice the picture was taken inside.
I'm sponsored by E-caps/Hammer Nutrition.
I'm about 20 lbs from race weight. It'll be gone by April. Not being able to work out for 4 months is rough on the figure.
By sponsored by e-caps/hammer, do you mean buy one get one free? lol, i had to

Its called a trainer and watching what you eat. Christ I can't imagine putting on 20 lb just because its winter...

i really hate thigh/quad threads.
i'll be leaving now.
It's not that hard to imagine, just think about everything you ate in the last 4 months, and then imagine that your colon is stapled permanantly shut
Jesus, I can understand dropping to race weight, but it's not like Cypress is heavy or anything here. It can't be healthy to just let your upper body atrophy.
Eh malt liquor and the HR fits college life, I had a trainer session involing intervals and tequilla...that didn't work out entirely as planned
As for getting in shape, you gained 20 pounds in the off season. Me thinks a new plan is in order.

It's called reading what I wrote. Two knee surgeries. The whole "not being able to work out" thing wasn't sarcasm.
If I work my upper body, it balloons up and puts 8 years of weight on me. Not being able to take Anti-inflamatory meds made it impossible to bend my leg enough to get in a pedal revolution for a good 2.5 months.
A person that takes in 3000 calories a day then stops losing them puts on weight fast. Then add that I was plagued by one bad knee all of last season, so riding didn't happen as much as I planned. Ride once, hurts a lot, rest for a week till it gets better. Not good training if you ask me.
I was hit by a GMC and it tore my lateral meniscus as well as fractured the top of my tibia. Didn't find out until 8 months later though.
:(
Edit: As far as locking this thread, if it needs to be done, that is fine. I assumed that having one thread for everyone to bash me would be better than other threads getting derailled just because I posted in them.

If this thread is all about bashing you, I'll leave it open a bit longer. :D It really doesn't matter what you post, or how many excuses you have, when this crowd thinks they have a soft target, they start taking shots right away. I think it has something to do with making up for their inadequacies in other places...
We're going to take shots if you make dumb posts to start with, some how if you've been injured in the horrible winter of Montana for umpteen months I doubt your thighs are much to brag about.
Ouch! You may want to put some ice on that 2nd degree burn. Let me know when it's time to pull the plug on this thread.
But pinky did bring up a good point.

You list your location as "mars".
So cypress I thought you said you were riding 15-20 hours a week? I thought you could leg press 600000 lb or something. When was the last time you did that? Last summer? I'm still curious as to why you're so big into bragging about your legs. There was a leg pic thread here a while back and I'd say 50% of them were bigger and more defined than yours. Sure you've been out with an injury.... but if thats the case and its winter and you're out of shape - don't brag about it.

Dang, some of you guys are tools without a sense of humor. There, I fixed it. Give it a rest, JB, nobody wants to listen to your sort of condescending trolling tonight. Go snuggle up with EURO, or something.

haha just joking! but why would anyone start a thread like this if he didnt want to cause a stir. I mean thats about equal to starting a trouble-magnet thread like "i have the longest willy on the forum".

lets link Cypress's pic to some gay sites where proper use can be made of it. Think of all the Kleenex, Cypress, that will be sacrificed in your honour. Isn't this what you wanted all along?

I tried to get Hammer to sponsor our team for the coming season and they told me that they basically weren't doing that this year and they were focusing on sponsoring exceptional individuals. Unless the Hammer rep was lying, which I don't believe to be the case, you're a stand out. List your palmeres for us.

Yes. But we want to listen to this guy somehow bringing his leg press weight into every thread. Please... If anything is trolling its this entire thread.

Indeed. There are a couple other threads besides that one as well. I believe this post is the pinnacle of his goofiness though - I hope.

seriously I dont know if thats a hard core sponsor or anything but in the adventure racing world 50% of the teams are affiliated with that company in one way or another.
