Mountain Biking - Wheelset Porn

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Thats, right, freshly built and 29" all the way. Gotta say the Salsas have probably built up nicer than any other rim I have used.
Specs are:
Specialized (Ritchey) STOUT Disc front hub, 32h
DT Swiss Onyx Disc rear hub, 32h
DT Swiss 1.8/2.0 black spokes
Salsa Delgado Cross black/machined rims
Maxxis Ignitor 29x2.10 tires
Laced 3x, of course (is there any other way to lace a wheel?)
If only I had a frame to put them on...

Very nice, what are they going on?
I dont know yet... maybe a Fisher? I get them cheap and their parts specs are pretty good, though I am not wild about their frames/geometry.
Very nice seely. Check out the Salsa 29'ers as well. I know a couple of people riding them and they are very happy with them.
I really, really don't like soft tails! Thanks for the suggestion though.

I didn't even think about it being a soft tail. I'm not a big fan of soft tails either. With a 29'er unless the trail just gets brutal front suspension is all you will need.
