These notes may help when planning a ride, the link is a new one to me, but GOOGLE EARTH is pretty good, the link may be better on some arears and Google Earth on others.

www.topozone.com is always nice to help you get a feel for the lay of the land (although the maps are pretty old and may not be accurate in developed areas). Ya just can't beat topo maps for seeing what you're getting into.
