how does one mount that tall bike
very carefully.
I like all those bikes.
The first one's all mad max looking, the second one's just dumb and left for drunken ideas, the third is great if you ever want to ride across the country or anywhere and the tall bike is always a crowd pleaser.
The first bike looks like a grasshopper with wheels.
the second bike is kinda cool, its like rowing.. but with wheels

I thought this thread was gonna be nasty injury pics or something.
That Cannondale pic really makes me want to do some touring... badly.

I <3 softrides, but doubt they would be a good choice for an everyday rider for me. (Read, I don't want to fork out that much money right now at all)

Saw a softride in person last weekend for the first time. So ugly it almost makes me want one.

I saw a couple riding matching bright yellow softrides during the NYC century. Perfect example of people who have too much money and not enough sense re what to spend it on. and bright yellow?! come on.....
Bleh.

the touring bike doesn't fit in at all with the attempted theme. thats exactly how a touring bike looks.
And when you thought it couldn't get any worse.

that location is only good for liquid fuel for a small stove IMO. that way it doesnt matter when it gets all crappy with road grime.

lucas is a badass.
i'm totally loving the use of that tupperware lid in between his helmetcam and the helmet.

The softride is pretty intense (read: odd and somewhat ugly), but I would want one for the sake of the looks I would get when riding one.
