You're cheating... the letters are placed in such a way in many of the cases to help figure out the word. Try the following revision, and you'll probably find it a bit harder to read (though still readable) even though you already know what it says:

I cnloudt bevilee taht I cloud alaculty undatesrd waht I was reindag. The panamhomel peowr of the haumn mnid, anridcocg to a rcaresheer at Cabrigade Utverniisy, it den'sot metatr in waht oderr the leretts in a wrod are, the olny imatponrt tnhig is taht the frist and lsat lteetr be in the rhigt pcale.

didn't have much trouble with either version - then again - I knew what it was supposed it say. (for what it's worth I was able to read it the first time when I originally saw this several months ago too)

Actually jschen, I could read your version almost as quickly. That was pretty cool! I could literally read them almost as fast as correctly spelled text.

Okay, I guess the verdict is that trying to spell meaningful words in the middle of the scrambled stuff or create letter patterns that might help mislead the reader didn't work. Oh well...

Actually, I could still read JSChen's version eventhough some of the words were "misspelle", meaning some of the words didn't have the right letters in the word. I.e.; Cabrigade is missing an "m" and has an extra "a" if it's meant to be Cambridge.
