So I finally installed my ebay tufo's.
It was quite interesting to install them for the first time, very tricky... but I figured it out and filled them to 130 psi as suggested on the side label. =)
I will be testing them out @ the track tomorrow. WISH ME LUCK !

What's the tread like on those? File?
I just got a set of Micheline Pro Race 2's that I'm going to put on my Phil/CPX33 wheelset soon. I'm just waiting for the rain to stop long enough for the track to dry out.

Yes, I tested them out around the block a few times, they ride awesome.
I think they are a great improvement over the stock tires that came on the bike...

awesome track day !
Met up with 5 other riders, 3 of them were experienced, and 2 other guys were new like me... we had a blast !
We did something called Madison . It was awesome. I was 2 unstable during the push so I stayed in the baby ring while the better riders went to the big ring ... =)
I'll get more time to play next week. WOOT !
I had a blast though, this was my first time on the track with other people. lol
The TUFO's held up great and felt tight and smooth.
Now.. to get a set of new wheels with some duraace hubs ! =) Andante here I come !

i have only ridden my elites on the road but they are nice. Not sure i would have bought them has they not been on sale. fords are 700x21 and im not sure i feel comfortable with that size. my elites are 700x23 and smooth. Very nice. Heavier than regular tubulars but lighter than clinchers.

WHy u dont get MICHE primato hubs??? are a loooooooot cheaper than durace hubs to start with... and u cant feel the bearing cartriges when turning the wheels? I have a set of those and no regrets so far. People use them to ride at the street the whole day and no complains.
U need to get a nice set of rims. Get some like a mavic gp4, or an ambrosio durex or some like that. Those two models are super strong, super rigids and sometimes super hard to fine hehehe I got 3 Gp4s NOS at ebay time ago like for 30 bucks...
