This folder is for sale online, nobody has made any offers yet which will probably mean it will go cheap, like 5 to 50 Euros. No idea what the Brand is, can't make it out. I quite like it because it is a U-Frame yet it isn't,.. the beam is straight but the hinge is still horizontal. The back part is like some of the older folders we were discussing recently, i love the beafy tubes, also digging the sprung saddle and that the rims seem to be Alu. Still i am not going to buy it, it is too far too pick up for my taste plus i am on the verge of buying another Gazelle Kwikstep cheaply. Just thought you guys might find this one interesting.

In Israel there were many bicycles like this you're showing us. There is no hinge. The frame just split in two and according to what I could see this "hinge" is not so strong and the frame is very heavy. Most probably, the rims you see in the picture are not aluminium. About a year ago I found two of these bicycles and I didn't take them because they wouldn't fit my type of riding and despite the many kg of steel the manufacturer damped on these models, the frame is still a bit weak. Beside that, I like to see a rear triangle in a bicycle and this model does not have one ...

@V1nce,

On the frame it says 'VALENTINA'
Looks like a very heavy folder to me too.

It's in Chop's list (with exactly the same pic !!!!!) :eek:

Hey good points! Can't believe i didn't catch that it is break apart bike rather than a folder! I can always tell the difference but when i surfed late at night i did not look carefully. Perhaps it being in chops list is not soo strange as i suggested he surf the Dutch Auction sites in order to find more and different folders, but i could be something sinister as well.

I also still prefer triangles and such so the Twenty and Kwikstep are vastly superior to this folder in my book too.

I'm not sure Valentina is the manufacturer's name, it might be a Gazelle Valentina. Check out the colours of the dutch flag on the bike. (it's only a guess....)

Very doubtfull, Gazelle is A Dutch brand and i am always on the look out for their bikes. This style of folder i have seen only very rarely and never with a Gazelle headbadge. Though i guess it could be possible that it was a model that sold very little and was quickly dropped, but again, don't think so.
