Could you possibly be any more vague? Give us a height range to work with, and what kind of backsweep you're looking for; and, then, of course, there's the weight issue.

If you realy want osme good abrs though(no joking around), you shoudl get the Odyssey Civilian, or even the Svelte version if you've got the cash flowing. They are LIGHT bars with a Lifetime warrenty, so I don't see any trouble there.

you should probably ignore everything they said and just get a set of slam bars. you can't go wrong with them.

I ride Macneil Tall light bars now.
They're just shy of 8" tall, and have 12* of sweep.
Super comfy for me.

I bought some big Sunday handlebars, Triumph (8" rise, 28" wide). 41 thermal treated, lifetime warranty. Can't wait to try them.

Currently I've got a pair of Slams that are cut down to 26", but I just bought a pair of Beringer Lights that'll be cut down to the same width (and tapped for the new Tree barends (http://empirebmx.com/catalog/showdetail2.aspx?id=1092476)).

are you tapping it? was that size tap real expensive? i know my kit doesn't have one that size. do you put the grips over those?? or do you have to cut of the ends of the grips?

Empire is cutting .5" off either end, and then tapping it (actually, they already did, because the package was in the mail yesterday) for an additional five bucks. And no, you put the grips on (I haven't had to cut the ends off grips in years; most of them aren't capped anymore, even the Odi Longneck STs I bought with the bars), then screw in the barends.)
