I just can't stop laughing, heres the story:
Let me start of by saying I am a minor so both me and my dad have a card to my account. Last night I go online to Wells Fargo to check out my account, and I notice something. Someone used my Dad's card to get $34.15 of gas at the local Shell. So I kind of get worried. I tell my parents and then call my friend who works at Wells fargo and he gives me the customer service number and tells me what to do. So the next day my dad calls Wells Fargo and explains about the charge. He learns that the card was declined at Target to buy $353 worth of stuff because I didn't have that much in my account. He then contacted Target and since he works at the DA's office and talked to security. Turns out there was 4 people, and they were all being watched by security previous to the attempt to pay. My dad got the security footage of them trying to pay, and I sat down and watched it. After they attemped to buy all the stuff and the card is declined, Target calls Wells Fargo and they put a bloack on the guard. Then the people head over to Carls Jr. and attempt to buy $22 woth of food and it gets declined. After looking at the tape I notice the main dude is a kid from my school who sits about 20 ft. away from me at lunch, but I dont know him. It turns out that my brother had some friends over to study and one of his friends brought over this guy and he ended up taking th card from where my dad keeps his stuff. The dude, now named Ivan, ended up logging on to myspace on my comp, so my brother logged on to his profile and lone behold it is the dude. So my dad is now running the plates of the car the guys took of in :) He is going to file a report in 2 counties and is pretty sure he will be found guilty. I just hope the guy's frinds don't kill me now :p
I think this dude picked the wrong person to jack a credit card from :)
Kinda bites though, this is the first checking account i've had and I've had it less than a month...
