Hi,
saddles drive me nuts. I have been using a Serfas RX on my hybrid, but it's a 2 hour saddle.
I was thinking maybe Ti rails, but at 250 pounds,I am not sure I wouldn't flatten the rails. I want to try a little less stuffing. My LBS likes the WTB Speed V, but it gets a lot of negative comments. I was thinking something just a little narrower, and thinner, than the Serfas. I have looked at the posts on saddles here; perhaps I just have to try a bunch of different saddles. Btw, if you try to use a Brooks B17 on a Raceface XYZ seatpost, the saddle rails rest on the post pivot. This keeps them from flexing, and makes the ride harsh. I might not need that post on my new frame; but it's what i wound up using on my hybrid. It puts the saddle about an inch further back than most posts.....seemed like a comletely different bike after I threw it on.

I had a Serfas saddle. Just never really liked it. Read some of the posts here and got a Terry Fly Ti. Love it.

I ride both a Surfac Cosmos dual density and a Brooks, and I love 'em both! I have over 5k miles on the Surfac, and it is great...I do centurys on it with no problem. I only have about 300 miles on the Brooks, but it is getting to be more comfortable all the time. See if you can borrow some saddles from other riders or your LBS to find one ya like! Good luck!

Ditto for me with the Terry Fly Ti which I have on my road bike. I've got the Terry Liberator on my hybrid, but I like the narrower Fly better. I've been thinking of getting another one for the hybrid.
