Anyone have any ideas as to where we can get a travel cover for our new tandem? It sits on a rack in the rear of our 5th wheel. Thanks in advance.

Herb,
You know what I'd explore, I'd check with a local tent and awning place. I don't know where you live, but most medium to large metro areas have a number of these type of shops. I have some friends who get their boat covers made at such shops. They could make you a nice custom fit cover with eyelets on the bottom where you could safely secure it. I have seen 1/2 bike covers at some of the web based/mail order places, but no tandem covers. I'll bet a tent and awning place could do you a better job for less $. There are some real nice light weight materials out there now, and that's all you'd need. Let us know the results...OHB
Co-Motion sells a bike cover.
Also, you can make your own with vinyl sheeting/duct tape
Canvas could prove to be sturdy, but needs heavy duty sewing machine.
Another suggestion: while traveling on the road, put tandem *inside* 5th wheeler, it will not suffer from dirt/debris/rain while traveling. When you need more space after you've arrived at destination, then take tandem outside and cover it.
Thanks so much for the idea. We live in a small town, but in proximity to a larger metropolitan area. I'll begin my search tomorrow and let you know what the results might be.
