Bicycle Mechanics - Park TS-6 replacement parts

I have just had the fortune to have a Park TS-6 in good condition almost gifted to me. The problem is that the top two pieces are missing. They are the small pieces that slide in and out with a paper scale glued to them. The pieces are essentially square tubing about one inch by one inch and are three inches long with cutouts at the end to mount the axle. I think if I can find the tubing I can fabricate my own, but it would be nice to actually have the manufactured ones. I checked the Park web site and wouldn't you know they don't seem to be supplying them to the public anymore ( The TS-6 is the old model that proceeded the TS-7 but it resembles the TS-2 in the majority of constuction except that the arms slide in instead of hinging on the bottom. It is very sturdy and should be a real prize if I can get it working. Any Ideas?

Although I didn't receive any responses to my inquiry, I did receive an email from Park this afternoon. I called them and they did have a couple of the pieces I needed for the TS-6 Truing Stand left. Ten bucks gets me a restored stand. It's really nice and for those that have never seen one, it's all metal with no flimsy parts. I can't wait to try it out with the new axle holders as they will be here later this week along with the spokes and nipples I ordered from Nashbar. I'll build my first wheel from scratch and do a couple for my friends and if no one dies I'll have obviously learned a new skill.

Sounds great! Learning to build your own wheels is a very valuable skill. Could you post a pic or two for the TS-6-ignorant among us?

I will post a photo as soon as the parts arrive, so I can give you a full view. By the way, I can find very little about this Park tool. Does anyone know the history or when it was offered in the Park timeline?
