I sorta stumbled into riding when I dated a guy who was into mountain biking. I went to a race and finally purchased a bike--something I had been considering for years. After much deliberation I decided on a mountain bike.
Well we soon stopped seeing each other and I ended up riding in Brooklyn's Prospect Park. I've yet to meet anyone who enjoys cycling or biking including my current beau so learning and riding have been a solo journey. Now I'm in Jersey City and haven't found a favorite place to ride and don't ride nearly as much as when I was in NY but I've been using my trainer during the winter months to try and maintain some sort of routine. Maybe one day I'll get a road bike but for now I'm good. I enjoy reading articles and posts about and by people who just love to ride.
