Just wanted to post a message thanking the forum members for all their advise and opinions! I've posted a few messages over the last few weeks and I've really enjoyed reading all the replies. I thought I'd let you all know that I decided to get a Litespeed Ultimate and a Campy Centaur group. I have one more question though, should I "upgrade" from the Mavic open pro rims with centaur hubs to a campy proton wheelset? I know they are the same hubs, I'm leaning towards the protons cause I like the looks of the rims :) Thanks again!

I have NO experience with the proton wheels.
that said, the open pro's are bombproof. They are excellent
rims.
If I had to make a choice I'd muddy the waters a bit and
go for a Neutron wheelset if I was going Campy
(but then I'd get tubular rims to boot).
