CM-NY Season?

Just wondering if there is a particullar day or week that CM traffic is heaviest? Wife and I have never been to NYC and were thinking it would be fun to hit CM, NYC style while there.

Right now is a good time. The cops are pissed and all the wannbe activists are showing up in force, bring a clunker bike and eat a good meal ahead of time,the food at the precinct lockups sucks. Always on the last Friday of the month meet 7pm at Union Square Park North
