An urban twist on a classical sneaker style, This relaxed fit sneaker from Biomega and Puma offers a cool approach to casual essentials. It’s a whole new type of sneaker for the nonconformist urban biker. Forget about geeky technical bike shoes, this is a comfortable shoe that can be used on and off the bike.

The functional parts of the Biomega/Puma shoe address city biker issues. The halo shaped elastic protects your trousers from the chain when not tugged away in the heel pocket and the main part of the shoe is a black reflector that beams traffic headlights right back in white. The shoe designed by Jens Martin Skibsted can be bought in selected Puma stores

So it's a skate looking shoe with velcro closures, a reflective patch on the side, and a pocket on the back for an elastic band.

I like the reflective bit because it is black, and doesn't look too bad. As for the rest, I can pass.

Looks good to me, having the strap built in is a great idea as is the reflectivity. Those reflective bits on shoes are the only thing that keeps night-time joggers visible.

BTW Puma also makes a sub-800 dollar folding bmx, gotta have the bike to match the nifty shoes
