Commuting - pssst - for anyone except eggplant jeff

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

anyone know what size feet he has?
You buying him a pair of socks?
Oddly enough this tidbit of information has passed though my conciousness. Sadly, my memory sucks. Big, I know that...I mean the guy has got to be 6'-4" or so.
Why are you asking? And why not just ask him? I'm confused. I don't have an answer for you, but I am very curious why it should matter.

Isn't it back on your thread about maiking socks? I thought he was one of a few people who noted their foot size.

hey tokolosh! :) Have you been riding now that you're not commuting? I miss your posts in the "how was your commute thread" :(
Oh yeah, and if you happen to make any extra socks just by mistake or anything else for that matter, my shoe size is 8 and I'm 5'8" :D :P

btw, if u accidentally knit a pair of size 9's, u can send them my way. Why, that's my shoe size as well! What a coincidence... ;)

Umm, did your shoe size just grow by two sizes in the last few hours? You said it was size 6 earlier today. That or I'm losing my mind (a definite possibility).
To save the effort of distributing all the size 8-9 socks, just send them all my way. I may or may not getting around to distributing them for you. ;)

I realized I wrote the wrong number the first time :o One would think that after 4 years I'd manage to remember my American shoe size :o

American shoe size
[stress] shoe sizes . . . dollars . . . temperatures . . . distance . . .[stress] americans are just too much work:cry:
got wide feet, peregrine? i got a pair here that look like the shoes of snow white's dwarf buddies on my men's-5/6 gollum-shaped feet. on the other hand, my size-10-cleat-wearing kid says they fit him fine, so clearly the excess will stretch either way. [you are about to be warned] the kid politely declined keeping them. [you have been warned]. i have washed them again since they've been on his feet though ;)
different stitch patterns shrink/felt very differently too. i have one full-rib pair that are barely 8 inches long fully felted, and probably 1/4 inch thick. i could give 'em to an 8-year-old, if i knew any i liked.
ya pm's me yer address, and ya takes yer chances.

LOL, you're right about that! Among other things, the metric system is SO much easier to work with and the Celsius degrees make much more sense!

haha, my feet are a little wide yes :D I was kidding about the socks and I'd hate to take advantage of you that way, but I'd love to have a pair of nice snugly knit socks to walk around the house in :D
