pretty cool, but I'm spoiled by STi, Exo cranks, 140psi tires and such. Before I quit racing last year, I had a "beater" road bike: Pinarello steel, carbon fork, Ultegra, etc... I never rode it 'cause it was so much worse than my racing bike. What would this thing ride like?
You're looking at a museum piece, or at best a vintage exhibit ride. Note the front sloped tube frame for the lady while the captain steered from the back. I wonder what $ it will go for.
While a bit rare and especially a real antique (over 100 years old) this type of rear-steering tandem was not uncommon, even in later years.
Hey there guys, i am the one that bought this, offered $585 and he without asking offered it up to me for $550. Think i am gonna put it up to fixedgeargallery swap meets and get a buyer, i dont have the cash to fix it up properly.
If anyone has information about these i would be very appericative. I am also taking offers as well.
Nate.
