I am disappointed :( I can't vote either. I married a smart blonde, drive an gas guzzling Escalade, am a die hard campy sicko, single malt sipper and chow down goose liver pate and black truffles :p on carr's watertable crackers. If I wasn't such a nice guy, I'd think that this poll was discrimatory...Should I phone Al Gore's legal counsel, have the vote retallied or can I still be a club member????

 because it doesn't have a 2fingers scotch glass to toast with :)

International Harvester: best trucks ever built. PERIOD. Shimano, Campy, Sram, etc, I'm not good enough to know the difference yet:) As for booze, well I'm not much of a drinker but I do enjoy a good stout. As for blonde brunette or redhead, why not all three? Better yet all three at the same time:thumbup:

Nope..still holding strong. I can get in a few bike rides on my days off when I can actually get the sun.

But then again last year it didn't snow until dec 14th...Then we got serious dumping for 1 month. :)

Reminds me of Jay Silverheels in his International Harvester Scout commericial, "Get 'em on up, Scout." I wonder how many International Harvesters are still on the road. I do know they lasted longer than my Renault R5.

LOL... I guess you'd better get off the bike your cycling through life on... You're going way to fast... Cause, if you're anything like me... getting old affects vision, color, taste buds and ones ability to react in a timely fashion over the handlebars... :p and later on regularity will force you to consider saddles with built in Depends instead of gel... :frown:

Greywolf - you are one sick, one very sick lizard.:D

You like kwv brandy? kwv as in the South African, kaap wynkeldarsvereeniging (aka Cape Wine Cellars Association). that stuff is awful! You have to mix it with Coke to make it taste better.:)

Rum is fine, women are fine. But kwv? Ye gods, man, what are we to do with you?:D

Eina!

That proves it. You are a sick k-dog (better keep that one to ourselves)! SA railways. If ever there is a rail system worse than the UK, it's the SA. I was stationed for a while close to De Aar in the cape, and it was then a haven of steam locos. Then I was shunted (puns galore) to Mafikeng and that was another great place for steam locos. I had a meal at the local hotel in Mbabane, I think, where it finished with something like what you described, and I'm sure it was brake fluid. But the 'classic' I had was at the Holiday Inn up in Gaberone in Botswana. Waiter asked me in very bad English, and his Afrikaans was as bad as mine, so it was doomed to failure, what I would like to drink. I asked for a coffee and a brandy and coke. He came back to the table with 2/3 cup of coffee and a tacky bottle of KWV. He filled the rest of the cup with the brandy, and, literally, the coke. That's africa for you.:D

I still miss it though. I don't think any continent in the world makes better sunrises and sunsets!:)
It was awful.
