Was reading the Chicago Tribune this morning and they had an article about a new website:

www.pandora.com

it's an internet radio station where you enter in a favorite band or song and it creates a playlist based on similar songs or bands. With each song that plays you rate with a thumbs up or down to refine your playlist.

I entered Built To Spill and have already been introduced to 3 bands I'd never heard before but really enjoyed.

skitbraviking, let me know what you think

I am sorry, but this is unbelievably cool. And very accurate I must say.

They did a good job with "Calexico"

I have to admit that I've stumped it twice already, but this is me we're talkin' about. I listen to some pretty obscure stuff.:) I kind of expected to come up empty on Foreskin 500, but I thought for sure they'd have some Whale. At least you can email recommendations for artists/songs not found.
