Hey all,

After a year hiatous I am getting back in the saddle and hitting it. In college I did the MTB thing a ton and loved it but now living here its not very fun or something you can do reguarly so I got in to road riding in 03 and got serious in 04. But got married last spring and took a bit of time off w/new wife, job, and house.

I use to ride with the great guys from SPOKES and am working on getting back in shape this winter to hang w/them and have some fun...maybe a century or two before too long.

Anyway for you Chicagoians I live in Westchester and work in Naperville so PM me if you have a group ride I'd love an opportunity to jump in.

My other obsession is Jeep ORV Rock Crawling and trail rides if your intrested in that let me know its a blast.

Anyway hope to hook up w/some good folks here!

p.s. if you want to meet some great guys from across the pond check out www.acf.com.

Hi, Sponge.

I'm from Chicago Heights and new here too. It looks like all Chicago is joining the forum these days.

Those great guys from SPOKES you used to hang with ... is that Folks on Spokes based in Flossmoor? I just attended their January meeting. My wife and I will probably be joining them soon. Maybe our path's will cross there.

I was referring to Folks On Spokes (see http://www.folksonspokes.com/index.html )

They're pretty active with several week night and weekend rides from late April into October. They also host an Easter invitational that draws about 1,000 riders.

I believe rode w/them a few years back on a century ride. Thanks for the reminder on them!

Hope to ride w/you sometime!

Cheers!
