is there an extension on your headtube? the top of the lug looks to be pretty high above the top tube.

yeah, they're newvex lugs. that's just how the headtube lug is. it's slightly higher than your traditional lug (and will make riding an attractive deep-drop stem a bit more comfy).

as far as schedule, it's been about 5 weeks since we did the initial measurements and specs. johnny said he's little ahead of schedule right now.

the frame and fork will be completed in the next week or so, then some refining touches to the lugs such, then it's off to the painter.
