Foo - Whatcha doin'?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm down whenever. I don't have any bacon grease to fry in though. I guess I could use peanut oil.

Heh. Thanks, dauph, for that fine fried suggestion. :D
And, WP, I think that polara and I could arrange a good ol' suth'un fried-food weekend sometime. And you'll most welcome to stay in my guest room. :) I envision chicken, okra, dill pickles, and all sorts of other good deep-fried thangs. :)

Hey, peeps, I need to get me to bed now. This is one of those days that can teeter so easily between a good and bad day. Right now, it seems to be a good day, in spite of all that I had to put up with, and in spite of some rather sad Foo posts today with which I can so readily empathize.... :o
Anyway, I'm headin' to bed. It's just time to go watch a bit of mindless TV, then turn out the light in an hour or so....
'Night, fellow Foo'ers! :) <wavin', slinkin' to bed in pink jammies>

Sounds like you got a reasonable answer. Machka is pretty knowledgable in this area.

Hey Janet (Yes Brad?), I've got something to say.
I really loved the skilful way
You beat the other girls to the bride's bouquet!
The river was deep but I swam it, Janet
The future is ours so let's plan it, Janet
So please don't tell me to can it, Janet
I've one thing to say and that's
Dammit, Janet, I love you...
The road was long but i ran it, Janet
There's a fire in my heart and you fan it, Janet
If there's one fool for you then I am it, Janet
Now I've one thing to say and that's
Dammit, Janet, I love you...
Here's a ring to prove that I'm no joker
There's three ways that love can grow
That's good, bad or mediocre
Oh J-A-N-E-T I love you so
Oh it's nicer than Betty Munroe had, oh Brad
Now we're engaged and I'm so glad, oh Brad
That you've met Mum and you know Dad, oh Brad
I've one thing to say and that's
Brad I'm mad for you too...
Oh Brad, Oh... dammit!
I'm mad, Oh Janet!
For you, I love you too
There's one thing left to do, and that's
Go see the man who began it
When we met in his science exam-it
Made me give you the eye and then panic
There's one thing to say and that's
Dammit, Janet, I love you...
Hello? Where is everyone? Getcha asses back heah, pronto!

Well, I tired of handing out candy to non-dressed-up teenagers (some talking on the phone!) some time ago, Foo is showing few signs of life, and I've been up since 5am, so I think I'll just give up and go to sleep. Lame.
'night Foo.

My web server is giving me sass, but I need to publish this website for a presentation at 8am. No good.
And not feelin' so great this morning :(
Looked up where 47.11N, 88.57W is on a map. Ended up at Houghton, Michigan.
Here's my location:

huh?
You can run, but you can't hide! Mouhahahahahaha! :p
Aaanyway, here's a funny pic I took recently. It's a knife, with the words "rostfritt stål" on it. The words literally mean "rust-free steel" (you can probably see that if you have an eye for languages), i.e. stainless steel.

That's not rust, it's just a bit of leftover peanut butter!

Looks like I'm the furthest South
Bah, should be heading to school. 1 hour until presentation time.

Just stay a little longer. You'll have plenty of time to do your presentation! :D
FYI, the "-" is used to indicate W and S when letters aren't used.
47.11N, 88.57W = 47.11, -88.57
And Mal, I see you live close to St. Catharines. I had a penpal there 16-17 years ago.

I actually lived in what is more or less a suburb of St. Catherines for about a year :D Kind of a boring city... Not that mine's much better.
And now to head to school, it's free coffee day today :D The place at school where I always buy coffee has loyalty cards, so you get stamps for buying coffee. 9 stamps = free coffee.
My group better not have flaked out on me for this presentation

Survived Halloween last night with no little buggers trampling my flowers! :D.
Checking emails, reading the sports page, & thinking about where I'll ride at lunch today:).
mmmmm free coffeee
Good luck on the presentation.

"Kill" is such a crude term. I prefer "reap".
harvest is very genteel as well

I might have to start using that. Yelling "I'll reap you!" when I'm really mad at someone often seems to be mis-understood.
I just use "your soul will look nice in the vase on my mantle"
