Wel;l I guess my plan to snap you to Germany didn't work.. Sorry about that. It wasn't intentional.
That one just went right over my head. Seriously.

Oh, it was from the "Germany is running dry thread". TG tried to teleport me to Germany, cause I'd like to be there very much, but it didn't work.

And to borrow a nerdy reference from my bros and my team members who are obsessed with online mmorpgs and stuff, "that spell took up all of my manna. Have to wait for a recharge."

I say that quite often except replace "spell" with "ride", "manna" with "energy" and "recharge" with "ice cream".

Hangin' in Sedona - virtually unaffected by that big fire. In the past 9 days, we've made stops in Nauvoo, Illinois, Dodge City, Kansas (snore), Pagosa Springs, Colorado, Moab, Utah (climbed a 14.5 mile long hill a little north of town on my touring bike), Bryce, Utah, and now here. We've been to the Great Sand Dunes, Mesa Verde, Canyonlands, Arches, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Parks. Looks like the Grand Canyon will be tomorrow. Eventually, I'll have to put up pictures after I get back home and all caught up with everything. The sad news for the day is, all the good trails in Sedona are still closed due to the fire that some moron started. :(
Anyways, hope all you Foosters are doing well. Don't have time to stick around and blab. Just catching up on e-mail, and thought I'd check in.
Take care...

I read some of the things you guys discuss and yeah, whatever happends in here, pulling out the special olympic picture to make a point will just about send me to the roof, that is just pure insensetivity right there, the last time that was done in front of me, I just about lost it on that person!
what am i doing? well.. I finished redecorating my daughter's bedroom and painting it, was part of our deal, better grades for the end of school and youll get the ultimate make over for your room, who said a little bragging doesnt work? :)

I totally listen to Depeche Mode's lyrics.
About to set up a chemical reaction that's approximately the equivalent of throwing a brick at a fly on a glass window. For now, I'll tolerate the glass window getting shattered if it means the fly dies. (Ultimately, though, I need to manage to kill that fly without breaking the window.)
Bug placed on glass window. Brick thrown at it. Going to dinner. To determine aftermath of brick throwing afterward.

I just finished dinner. Sof-serve vanilla ice cream and a bagel w/ lox spread washed down w/ Dr. Pepper. Sometimes, cravings must be satisfied. :)
BDG: pics of the makeover!
Dude, I want your dinner.
Mine's just spaghetti from the hospital cafeteria. :( And to treat myself, a small bag of chips.
I ate a triple burger from wendy's plus fries and a frescata sammich, washed it down with mt dew.....today was my once a month fast food day. Now im sorting groundbills and getting ready for billing day(friday), and waiting for two videos to finish encoding, and posting and surfing on 4 forums.

Actually, I listed it in the order it was eaten. So ice cream as the prelude to dinner. An appetizer if you will.

Flippin, Germany is teh awesome! You should totally go! Great mountain biking there, too.:D
I'm digesting my spicy pork-roast-based shepherd's pie. Mmm, good! I had some biscuits with it, but I think they were a little too filling. Plus, I'm pretty tired after my flat-fest, I mean, MTB ride this evening. Both of us had snakebites, then both of 'em started leaking again. I knew I shoulda bought a new patch kit.:( Ah, well, it was a good workout, at least.

Family vacation. One last big road trip with the mongo van. She's up for sale after it's over. I can't go to all these places without toting bikes along ;) (my mtb, my touring bike [only road bike I have that's geared for hills], and my son's mtb). I wanted to try riding up Wolf Creek pass out of Pagosa Springs, but I was short on time, rest, and hadn't acclimated to being at 7,000 feet. :o
Now, here in Sedona, all the good trails are closed because of the fire. Probably ok though because the guy at Mountain Bike Heaven said I'd probably want to have something with a suspension - which none of our bikes have.
jyossarian
06-29-06, 06:52 AM
You don't need a suspension. You just need to ride slower and choose your line more carefully. Sounds like a fun trip!
Just finishing a bran muffin and banana for breakfast and catching up on BF.

Make Kitten Alla salad with bacon and croutons? I think might need to talk to Kris for recommendations on making sure you get a good healthy plump kitten.

The problem with kittens is that you can't eat just one.
