Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

haha. Well, I'm not preggers, so... What would a sweaty, grimy woman signal to a man? That with my job as a full-time ditch-digger, I could be his Sugar Momma?

I agree. The man I'm attracted doesn't wear make up or clothes either.
*gasp* HE WEARS CLOTHES!! Yes! He wears clothes!!!!

That she won't be afraid of getting dirty ? or be worrying about breaking a nail? That you could probably take the gal almost anywhere in the world or she could take you almost anywhere in the world?

HOT!
I'm sitting here waiting to see pics of serenity's new dawg.
I'll settle for Flippin's post-ride pic so that we can analyze it and explain to her why the guy was hitting on her. (All in the name of research and helping her out, of course.)

(Some advice: don't do fifty miles in the heat.)

He's not hitting on her. He'd simply like to offer a professional opinion on Flippin Sweet's quandry, as would I. But, in order to do so, we would need data. In this case, it would be Flippin Sweet, fresh from a ride, covered in sweat, out of breath, still in her riding clothes... tight, tight riding clothes... so sweaty...

Tight spandex... mhmmmmm ... yes pics are going to be in order for us to give you an opinion on why people keep hitting on you.

Exactly! Just providing a professional service (free of charge!) to Flippin. And unlike explody, I'm not picky. If she'd prefer me analyze the data from after getting out of riding clothes, that's fine with me, too. :p
I think the word I'm looking for for y'all is "incorrigible".
I'm a scientist seeking data. The word for me is "objective". ;) The others, well, "incorrigible" sounds about right.
I don't think Flippin is convinced. :(

Mr. Chen, you're billiant. This would provide the most neutral observation of Flippin Sweet's sweaty, sweaty body from which we would most certainly be able to find an answer to her question.

I don't use UPS unless I have absolutely NO other option. Actually, sometimes I won't even buy stuff from a place if they won't offer shipping other than UPS....

Wasn't my choice. I was picking it up from the store and UPS was shipping it to the store. I didn't know they were using this service. They were supposed to ship it with the others all together but went UPS to get it to me faster. The regular truck beat UPS. I swear that better not be damaged. I won't be able to get another one........

To a bar to see off a friend who is leaving for Oxford, England for 6 weeks.
And I did that thing before I went running. It was delightful.
Which reminds me, I need to buy more toilet paper.

I'll keep you company... after I get out of here, anyway. Where are we drinking? (Maybe my helicopter pilot can get me there?) I'd be happy to buy my adorable long lost twin some drinks. Karen, huh? Whew... I was afraid your name might start with T. I'm already outnumbered by siblings with names starting with T.
Just got back from a quick pizza dinner with a coworker. Sitting around for an hour before 30 minutes of NMR (fancy instrument) time. In between, not much to do other than to get my side job (e-mail customer support, aka "consulting") done.
Maybe I'll post about why my siblings have names starting with T if I get bored enough.

Hee hee I watched that too! And had dinner.
And... I had my second TT race tonight. It was hotter, more humid and windy. Despite that I still bested my previous time on the same course by 20 seconds! I forgot my heart rate monitor though, so I couldn't see where I ended up with that info. The new TT bike goes to the LBS tomorrow night for final tuning and should see action two weeks from tonight in the third TT event.:D

So, pardon my ignoramousness, but what are you racing with now? A Huffy?;)
Okay, consulting work done. I'm bored. (Serendipper dropped by in gabbly, but I was too busy doing my consulting work to notice his message before he left. :( Sorry.) Why I'm glad BDG's name doesn't begin with T:
When my family moved to the US, my parents decided we should all have Anglicized names since it would help us fit in. We were staying at my aunt's place (my dad's older sister), and their children are Jennifer, Jeffrey, and Justin. So naturally, when they helped my parents pick out a name for me, they picked from a list of names beginning with J.
Tony (a second cousin; his father being my dad's closest cousin, someone my dad calls "older brother") got wind of this and was annoyed that my aunt and uncle were managing to get everyone's names to start with J. And he let my parents hear about it. So they let him name my three younger sisters. To balance out all the J's, he named them Tina, Tammy, and Tracy.

No problem Karldar! :) I'm racing the '04 Trek 5200 road bike in my signature. No aero bars or anything. Just straight road setup. It's light and fast, but other than the wheels, not the best choice for time trials. It's about 75/25 in favor of people with TT/Aero bikes (or road bikes setup aero) versus those without. So I'm looking forward to getting a few rides in on the new TT bike and seeing how my times progress over the summer.:D
