Sitting infront of the computer wasting my time, I say time well wasted.
Back is killing me. My friend calls me and his dad wants help filling in a trench in san francisco. He's an electrician. It was cool though cuz we caught up a bit since he got home from college. I'm glad I decided to bring a ho, because we couldn't stop joking about my dirty ho. Tehehe, plus I got some chicken taquitos from 7/11. Oh also, my friend was driving the huge van, he tried to park between the food mart and the row of pumps closest to the foodmart at the gas station. I told him he wouldn't fit, but he was determined to do it, and he freaking scratches the side of the van on a sign lol. Anyways, going to ozzfest on saturday, bringing alot of caffeine so we can rock out all day long. Wewt!!

Goin' to bed. Night, er, morning, everyone!:D
And... I had my second TT race tonight. It was hotter, more humid and windy. Despite that I still bested my previous time on the same course by 20 seconds! I forgot my heart rate monitor though, so I couldn't see where I ended up with that info. The new TT bike goes to the LBS tomorrow night for final tuning and should see action two weeks from tonight in the third TT event.:D
Sweet!
I've never used a heart monitor before, but then I've never trained for a race. Guess that stuff is pretty important when you're pushing the envelope, eh?

I'll keep you company... after I get out of here, anyway. Where are we drinking? (Maybe my helicopter pilot can get me there?) I'd be happy to buy my adorable long lost twin some drinks. Karen, huh? Whew... I was afraid your name might start with T. I'm already outnumbered by siblings with names starting with T.
Just got back from a quick pizza dinner with a coworker. Sitting around for an hour before 30 minutes of NMR (fancy instrument) time. In between, not much to do other than to get my side job (e-mail customer support, aka "consulting") done.
Maybe I'll post about why my siblings have names starting with T if I get bored enough.
awww thank you, Im going out tonight with some friends ( hopefully my crazy riding partner wont show up) but Ill take a rain check and my long lost twin and I will go out sometime! man, I do wish you guys were close enough to go out for a drink sometimes, how much fun would that be!!
I'm at work. Eight minutes into the day and I want it to be over *sigh.* Meeting someone for lunch today and then heading straight from work to southern Ohio for a girls weekend away. Should be fun. In the meantime time has stopped. *sigh*

i feel like that a lot lately at work, it's becoming harder ande harder , this is the tourists season and locals are so much easier to deal with. This weekend with the 4th around the corner, i will have double the work to do for the rest of the season

That sucks. I guess you can't really just close up shop and go away for a while. I hope you have somewhere to release the frustration.

I do, that's where biking and running comes to place.
I think we should start a petition to schedule tourism so that there's never an overwhelming number of people in the same place at the same time. "You want to go to New Hampshire....where exactly? I see we have the weekend of the 4th availble as long as you don't stray out of that city." I'd like that.

I'm lucky to have weekends and holidays off at a place that is strictly a tourist trap.
cycle going to ride bike and make wheels spin many revolutions this weekend.:p Maybe go see Kate Beckinsale:eek: and Adam Sandler in movie too.:D
I know someone who saw that movie and said it's seriously good. They went in with no expectations because desite Kate Beckinsale, there was also Adam Sandler and David Hasslehoff.....but said it was worth seeing because they both play their roles really well.

I'm working and drinking coffee and counting the hours before I can go home! I want to go on a hike tonight, and then tommorow I am dancing in my first big show, and then I'm going to watch Superman on Sunday and then go for another hike. I also want to take my bike into the LBS to see what's making that stupid clicking noise. I'm too scared to ride it now.

I just got back from eating Chimichangas and bought some Tecate and a lime, as well as some real Hormel pepperoni for my dog, Melvin. I was supposed to be in Knoxville learning about automotive AC systems, but the teacher got sick, so I inadvertantly got Friday off. :) Waking up at 10 feels so good. I think I might drink cervesas until I start dancing with the dog, laughing, doing John Cougar Mellencanp impressions, and have to check Bikeforums tomorrow to make sure I didn't post anything TOO embarassing.

Keep playing over and over one of my favorite songs..."Just stay"
"I'm not the same since you went away....Tried to believe you would never leave....just stay"

aarrrggghhh! I just had the same problem with my roadie, made me so paranoid. The one pedal will click sometimes, but I started getting other noises, and spent a few bucks getting the LBS to repack the bottom bracket rather than worry about it. It's all because I snapped my Voyageur downtube in half near the BB, and only noticed after I heard it creak...now I'm as high strung as a little hamster...listening to every creak and squeak...shivering.....glancing from left-to-right at lightning speed.....aaaaarrrggghhhh.

Don't you ride a fixie? There shouldn't be anything clicking. Where's the clicking coming from? You could ask the guys in the Mechanics or SS/FG forums. Good luck!

Yeah, that's the problem! The clicking is coming from the chainring I think...I started a thread about it in that forum, and bf and I tried a few things out. The rest of the suggestions I don't know what they are talking about, so I'm just going to take it into a shop to see WTF is going on with my bike. Thanks!

I'm gonna try to get through the entire lunch menu before the summer is over. It would be easier if the pineapple fried rice wasn't so ****ing good.

Pfft! Of course you do! When I rode with '66, gastro, girlscout and Hambone last year pics were posted in the MTB forum. I look about the same as I did then. My goat' might be a bit longer, and I smell better now, but it's close enough.

Nothing quite like seeing the spine of our galaxy stretching across the sky on a clear night. You should definitely look into the star parties. I bet you have some really great areas for star gazing where you live.
