I'm drying out after a hard hour on the fixed gear out in the pouring rain. I was getting cabin fever. I would have gone farther but there were power lines down so Pleasants Valley Road was closed. I was considering a metric on the fixie today in the rain. It's been raining for 10 days now, with at least 5 to go still. If it ain't rainin, it ain't trainin.:D

I swear, those wonderful folks at my fav little Greek/Persian dive must really like me. I mean, they loaded up my plate. And I ate every last morsel! :D

Then I was able to grocery-shop without buying the whole store. :p

Now it's time to register for the TT series pass. :) If I can get the stupid registration page to load today on my, yeah, go ahead and say it, DIALUP. :crash:

Snow is melting here today, 10 inches is pretty good for this area, the mountains are measuring in feet, last I heard was 3 ft on Sunday/Monday. Total of 12 feet on the ground in places now.

I've enjoyed my rest day today from training. I slept in, practiced the piano for like 3 hours, took my daughter to her piano lesson and caught up with some friends at the bike shop. My dang Transition still isn't in though I did have an offer to buy the Kysrium Elites off it. That works cause I will most likely put Zipps or Reynolds wheels in their place. Just back from dinner at the in-laws too. No trainer ride tonight.

I did tell the LBS to let Specialized know that if I don't get that bike soon I'm gonna get a Cervelo P3 instead.

I think some of the bike manufactures are having supply issues. I've had a custom IF delivered faster. I expect it soon, I hope. :rolleyes:

Stupid, stupid, arrogant guys. Why is it that they think they can fix things better than we can? Especially when it isn't your problem to start with?
