went for club ride this morning, picked up some goodies at the farmer's market afterwards and am now taking a break from cleaning the house. I wish I could teach my dog to run the vacuum cleaner!

Just got back from bike shopping and realizing how nice Pheard's bike really is. I was able to zip it around a little bit. It rides real smooth and felt steady until I put on the front brake that wasn't connected. GOOD THING I DIDN'T GO DOWN THAT RAMP, PHEARD!!! Then you would have had to call Boogs to come fix me up!:lol:

Rode home in the dark and was starving when I got home so I grabbed a bacon cheeseburger and just chilled.

That's one thing I don't miss about Texas. Of course, Tennessee isn't much better lately.:(

SixSixOnes baby. Good for styling at the local coffee hole and even walking around, but standing around for 5 hours is tiring no matter what's on my feet. My feet felt tired even on the bike when I was pedaling. Did about 35 miles today all told and I hung out at the beach with friends so it was worth it. And the girl I bought a knish off of...all I can say is, wowee!

I do care. I care what the people I respect think of me. Unfortunitely bdg is not one of them. Neither is texas guy, and I think when texas guy comes back he is going to laugh at the notion that anything I said scared him off. I haven't said anything too terrible to anyone. I was having too much fun with some BikeForums members riding in the mountains north of Los Angeles to care about work yesterday. I was the slowest of the group, but I nonetheless had a great time. And rode with some great people. Looking forward to next Saturday's group ride... a coastal flat ride this time.

Oh yes, I got the wonderful "get well and take care"'s (and all of the love that I really do appreciate :love: ) but I never wanted to drag it on beyond telling my foo family what happened that particular day.
