Photoshopping 292 images for a family DVD slideshow, shooting drum shots for flyers, distributing flyers to music stores, updating a Blackberry Pearl from 4.2 OS to 4.5, looking for a good deal on dual-layer DVD+R discs and cruising want ads for musicians.
That's about it.

need some jelly for those biscuits?
Forgot to mention to Foo that my second grade son road his bike to school today for the first time, along with his best friend. It was very cool helping him get ready, showing him how to open and close the lock, getting all his stuff in a back pack, etc, then giving him a gentle push on the back to get him started up the hill.
The only sad part of this is that my wife is out of town, so she missed it, and as I had our 4 year old to get to school as well, I did not get to ride to school with him for the first time. I was so busy helping him that I totally forgot to get out the digicam and snap a few pics.
As this was his first time to ride to school, the mom of the best friend followed them to the cross walk in her car and saw them safely across. She said they did just fine.

I prefer to think of it as lung butter

Just one more sleep and I won't be technologically challenged at home.
:D
Hey Sixty, how is life treating you?
Well, I ran my fitness test mile for my aerobic conditioning class. I ended up with a 6:59. I haven't ran a sub 7min mile in a very, very long time. I'm pretty proud of myself.
But... that high was brought down for I found out that he returned a messenger bag that I got for him as a gift. He hid it under the towels so I didn't see it. Apparently, he forgot to go through the boxes again. At this point, I'm a mix between slightly pissed and hurt. Whatever...:cry:
I think I'm going to go for a ride or a run tonight to get this out of my system.
Oh, one more thing, I have a bruise from my hip bone to past my knee. People in my weight lifting class were asking me how I got it... including the instructor. Heh. I think I got it when I fell while I was still clipped on the road. Good thing no one ran over me.
Look on the bright side, you now have a new messenger bag. It is all good.
I have the same exact one...

I've learned that difficult breakups are much like deaths, although not quite as final. There's a grieving process that one must go through and this is probably his way of dealing with that. Don't be pissed, don't be hurt, just understand that someone very close to him is no longer there and by returning something given to him by you may help him bring closer to his grief.
I'm outties Foo. Gotta return a textbook and pick up the correct one and then on to Geology!.

It has been tossing curve balls... but I'm used to hitting those. :D
The house is less quiet now that the fuzzy ones are back and they seem really happy and I thinm the girls will be pretty happy to see their pooches when they come tomorrow.

Unfortunately many years ago I did this to an ex (although we resumed a friendship after things cooled down). I would say he is angry or blames you for the breakdown in the relationship. I'm not saying it's your fault; people are good at blaming others when they should be looking inward. I'm saying that if he were simply trying to remove things that remind him of you, he doesn't have to shove them back in your face. If you had hopes to remain friends, I think it's still possible, but you guys need to have no contact for a while so you both can cool down.
Oh, one more thing, I have a bruise from my hip bone to past my knee. People in my weight lifting class were asking me how I got it... including the instructor.
I think there have been some women on BF who said when people see their mountain biking bruises they are concerned the women are actually covering up for domestic abuse. Nice that people are concerned but I guess it's annoying when you're just showing off what a tough stud you are.

Good thing no one ran over me.<7 min mile, impressive! i have no idea how fast i could run "a" mile, im usually pacing myself for 3+, but im pretty sure it wouldn't be that fast.
as for him.... its probably part of his grieving process (that, or he's just being a jerk). either way, as i was headed out this year for new years eve, i stopped by the post office and mailed a box of pictures, letters... "the" sweatshirt of his i always wore, and a few gifts he gave me. It was a positive new beginning, and I've never looked back. (It wasn't so positive for him, but he was the lying cheating SOB... ;) )
Toss it, burn it, run it over with your car, or better yet donate it. Do what you need to do as a cleansing process and call it a day.

Yeah that's exactly what I did. So you agree it's an act of anger, rather than just simple closure? Oh hold it, I didn't do exactly that. I returned letters, kept the pictures. She was hot, I knew after I cooled down I would still want to remember the good times. :p She did something bad, but she wasn't a bad person. We resumed a friendship months later.

It was an act of closure, not anger for me. (sure I WAS angry, but I've dealt with that in other ways... ooh there is a story about a vicious email I sent out of anger. I don't think I can bear to tell you guys, lest I be considered a cold, cruel witch)
He was hot- I've still got loads of digital pictures :innocent: (jk).
But sending it back to him was good for me, and a sure sign to him that it was over.

errr i suppose you'll all find out the truth that i am also an evil woman, eventually.
soo he kept calling/texting periodically, occasionally incessantly. I ignored him. My last straw was when he left me a voicemail at work at 7AM on my birthday (6 months after the breakup) to wish me a happy birthday, tell me he really misses me, and see 'whats new'. Not my cell, not at 8am when I'm actually IN the office. He was going a roundabout way to contact me.
So, I sent him an email response, equally "roundabout" to his method of getting ahold of me.
He wanted to be friendly and see what I'm up to, I told him about all the great things I've been up to. I also included a snippy remark about "I'm glad you haven't forgotten what you ruined (see pics), because I hope you never put anyone else through what you did to me." and included 1)naughty photo (copy of one i sent him while he was away at basic training) and 2) photo of the engagement ring we'd looked at. (correction, "he'd looked at" because he was the one who fathomed getting engaged TOO soon for my taste) whole nother story.
Yeah, that was vile. and I kinda regret stooping to that level. :(
