hey guys! :) just had the best day at the lac!! reminded me of when we were kids, jumping off the pier in the water all day, laying around a raft getting sun.. we just had a total blast!

I just got home from work early. What happened was that we were doing a project in an old industrial building, and a coworker of mine was using a metabo (basically a huge dremel) and he cut half way through his thumb. Him being rushed to the hospital made us two men short, so we took the rest of the day off.

Isn't 94.7 a rock station? Maybe the keyword here is "good." There are billboards all over everywhere now for that station - well, on the route I take to my parents house. I love 96.3 but I'm guessing you'd choke in abject horror at even the slightest suggestion that you ever might want to listen to top 40 music. :lol:

96.3 is garbage. Its like they don't know that the red hot chili peppers have made more than one song in the 3 decades they have been playing. The very last good rock station in Detroit was 102.7 the Bear. They moved to the northern lower peninsula. 9 out of every 10 songs they play I like, compared to 3 out of 10 with 94.7. You are probably familiar with 95.1 out of windsor. I do like that station, they just need a bigger tower so I can hear them.

96.3 does play "Dani California" A LOT but I've been listening to them for years and we've kind of grown up together so you know - if I stayed loyal during the whole Backstreet Boys years no reason to leave them now.

I'd actually never heard of 95.1 until they showed to cover our bike friendly workplace awards - which I thought was interesting as they're a music station but I guess they talked about the program during a break which was really nice. I'm guessing they must be a CHUM radio station as one of our award winners was AM 800.

Hey Cycle, hope you're doing better! It's too bad that so much energy and time have to go into causes that we would rather not deal with. The good thing is that these stages in our lives pass and sometimes they pass quite quickly. Just keep remembering that and hang in there and before you know it you will be back to your old self again! Great news about the lovely lady, too! :)

Is this the same 96.3 that I grew up with....Fort Wayne, Ind? They were going downhill hard after JJ & Chad got kicked off the air....I have no idea how far that station's range was...but I was listening to it all the way up at the michigan border loud and clear....

Oh, and JJ sucked at racing games....I tore him up so hard on cruisin world that he threw an f-bomb...good thing he wasn't on the air at that moment :)
