happy saturday! On my way to the LBS, my doc says I can start riding my bike a little longer if I agree to put on strap pedals, he doesnt want me in clipless in case something happends.. ( still got the cast on and still go to PT) so i guess strap is better then nothing!

I REEEEEALLY don't want to go to work today. I am SICK of this REMODEL!!!!! One more week and I go on vacation....away from the warehouse..........for three weeks...

This remodel is a three month project!!! They should be finished on the 26th. The day I come back...heh. (was I sly or what?)

I got the strop for my straight razor last night....man does a straight razor shave feel great...no razor burn, no nicks or cuts, and was far easier to shave around my goatee. Of course it helps to use short strokes, along with rinsing the razor after EVERY stroke....otherwise knicks and cuts will happen.

I'll take pics of the strop, razor, and kit sometime this weekend if I am not asleep. I'm pulling a 20hr shift today at work....it's the customer's quarter end, and we got nailed hard with orders...so I have to support the line. :(

I did a 30 mile ride wearing SPD sandals. Now I'm gonna go slack off at Starbucks w/ my bike and be a total Fred poseur. Shorts, sandals, etc.

I went out and got me some fr%#$@ stap on pedals, those things are not worth $#@%, so I put back on my clipless and I cant even $#@%$# unclip because my %$#$% ankel is too weak to %$#@# do anything yet!!! so I went and took the stupid %$#$% mtb around the &%$#@$#$ neighborhood again, for a whopping $#@#@ 6 miles.

Aren't you a tri-geek? Why don't you go swimming? You don't have to worry about unclipping there. Or take up biathlons. You can start the shooting practice part of it now and work off some stress. :)

Team Estrogen's ride is tomorrow. Can't wait. :D There's more males than females going, but that's okay. I should never have said anything publicly about going. Maybe then the other guys wouldn't have signed up. :p

lol! you guys are too funny! yeah Im on the lite side but dont even bring up swimming or Ill have to mention that Im in PT for bursitus in the shoulder as well... so nope! no swimming for moi! Im OK, I regained my spirit again, it's just that I was so excited about the perspective of biking again, I havent been on my bike in 5 week and I miss him dearly :( but my days are coming :)
