Team Estrogen's ride is tomorrow. Can't wait. :D There's more males than females going, but that's okay. I should never have said anything publicly about going. Maybe then the other guys wouldn't have signed up. :p
Yeah, that was a big mistake. You're supposed to tell everyone after the ride. That way the story sounds much better that you were the only male in a female paceline and the view was so stunning you didn't notice you road the whole ride on two flat tires.

Right now....wishing i had something to eat....and that it was one hour and thirty minutes from now, so I could go and get something to eat.
....I'm pretty sure if I came across an alligator, I would end up chasing it down with a fork in one hand, and a knife in the other.

I talk to them sweetly when I'm cleaning them.
I don't talk to my bikes. My commuter, I have little to say to him. My carbon fiber bike, she's too upset at me to care what I might have to say. My new prima donna, I'm not worthy of talking to her.
For you non-roadies, you might want to check out this thread ( http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=214990). :o

Yea man, I've heard so many stories of bad customer service for manipoo. Luckily I'll deal directly with nashbar in returning anything if the fork goes wrong. I honestly wonder how manitou is one of the top 4 fork companies.

Sgt Morrissey called again. Turns out the guy DIDN'T confess. He admitted to being there but not to the actual assault. And there's not enough evidence pending the location and cooperation of the witness. All five are free. :( By law they cannot be held for too long if no evidence is presented.
There is one main investigator and one detective working full time on this.

Oh, I'm BFing, looking up spiders and checking email after a nap. The concert was ****ing awesome!:D Korn rocked the house! They actually played Ice Cube's Wicked...never thought I'd get to hear that live. Chino from Deftones helped out with it. Set ended with Blind, which was just kickass! I'll probably be sore later....;)

I say, "Yah, mule!" when I'm going up a hill or something, but I'm not sure if I'm talkin' to the bike or myself....

No, my bike is deaf. I use sign language.
Mostly the middle finger pointed skywards with the other fingers clenched.

I always say "don't fail me now, please, please, please" while I'm going 35 on a descent.

They got off of the charges? :( That's horrible!
I say we find the guys and u-lock them to some streetlamps by the neck in some remote area, and then get a bike with some mag wheels, spin the back wheel up real nice and start putting their toes into the spokes.

When I'm making a descent, approaching 50, I am usually praying for no cars to pull out and no front tire blowouts!
Im having a monster energy!=D
I bought a four pack at CVS and they're hella expensive at 9 bucks. I recommend Tom Thumb.
cleaning up a couple of old bikes I bought at thrift stores.... soaking the chains. man, those things are nasty. may not have been cleaned since the Ford administration. I need some more degreaser. :)

I just got back from an RC airshow. The airforce also did several F18 Flyovers because we were really close to Selfridge Air Force Base. That was one good way to spend my 32 hour weekend.

hi guys, had a fun weekend but a total embaressing moment too, thought Id make you laugh.. I went to my LBS and well, if you think my typing skills are bad because of english being my second language, you should see the way I speak, it's even worst!! I was asking them a question about the "cleats" on my shoes.. but I guess Cleats with the way I speak came out as something else:o I only realised this when the face of that guy helping me changed to red and he wanted to bust up laughing! Inever was so red in my life!:p I laughed by myself in the car the whole way home:p
LoL

oh dear, first we have the peanut in the back of the shorts, and now the rubbing o cleats....
:D
I got a weird look from one of my neighbors yesterday...she came over with some beers to ask me to fix her laptop....well while fixing it, she looked towards my bathoom (visible from the couch), and saw my giant black shaving strop....the glance she gave me was priceless....one of those "WTF kind of pervo are you?" kind of looks....
I had to play along with her and ask her "what's up?" ....'why do you have a whip?' .... "that's my shaving strop, it's for my straight razor" ...'what do you do with that?' (another weird look)... "Shave, you know cut hairs from my face.." 'Yeah I know...but why?' " (in my best RuPaul impersonation) Because I'm beautiful dammit!"

So here's a little flip joke:
Q. How does a filipino use "Paul" 4 times in a sentence?
A. Paul, be carepaul, don't paul in the swimming paul. (Use your thick filipino accent when reading this.)
Topics of conversation to avoid:
- Bed sheets
- Fish
- World peace

The rain has stopped. The sun is shining through my window. I just ate a grapefruit. Sipping kombucha, but I'm thinking I didn't let it ferment long enough. Woke up early and went on a short ride before riding to work today. I plan to do this every morning if possible and get my strength up. :) Hiked up to Sunset Peak last night. It was fun, but cold! Ever been to a windy peak at sundown and forget your fleece? Danced at the student recital on Sat. and it was awesome. Went to party after that and had a bit too much to drink. :) Overall, a great weekend. :D

This is true - and are almost never referred to without specifying "bed" before "sheets".

Its hotter than Hell in Michigan right now. I'm pigging out on ice cream bars my brother got me from Costco. I've earned it, seeing as I'm now down from 220 pounds to 172.

Am I the only one that has three bikes in the bedroom and one in the living room for fear that someone might take them?
I don't know, Siu, but when my R3 shows up, it's staying in the bedroom, where one can't see it from the front door. My Roubaix sits right by the front door, as does my Allez when it's not on the trainer. (Recently, my Allez sits right in front of the TV, still visible from the front door.)

We live in a loft, so there is really no where else to put them! So far there are four bikes in the front room, but you can see them from the sleeping area as well. We are going to eventually get some racks to hang them from the wall. We'll need it especially if we're going to get two more bikes!

Nope. My peleton, XTR Mesa, Klien, Giant frame, and restored choppered up cruizer all stay in my bedroom which has a schlage lock securing it.
