Foo - Whatcha doin'?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Happy Monday, all!
one more day of work then I go to conference....wheee!!!! Any BF'rs in Lexington KY area? I'll be there for a week. No bike, though. Course, I AM driving...I could take the baby....hmmmmm....early morning Kentucky rides before workshops....something to think about!
I go to sleep looking at them and wake up looking at them. Somehow this just feels wrong. *sigh*
That's why my prima donna will be in the bedroom, and not in a closet or in the bathroom (the other two places in my small apartment not visible from the front door). I don't see anything wrong.
Liz, how was your date? Am I no longer on your list of potential Valentines for 2007? :p

Jason! how the heck are ya? I had a great date! He took me to a great steak place for dinner (I don't eat steak that often, but this was sooooo yummmmy!) and then we went to see Clerks II. And then.....well, it was hard to get the boy out of my house afterwards. This girl had to work the next morning, so poor guy was pushed out the door before I turned into a pumpkin!
2007 is a lonnnnnnng way away, darling. so, yes, you are still on the list!

Hey glad you had fun on your date! Isn't awkward when they won't leave? :p
Hey guys? Why won't you leave when it's time to? There is always tomorrow........

Yea, really?! why WON'T you dudes just go home? there really is always tomorrow.....really!
Just ate dinner: SPAM quiche Florentine. It was sooooo good we had to make a second one to have enough to share w/ the rats. We had that one ala mode. MMMMMmmmmmm GOOD!!!!
Glad you had fun, Liz. It's the same story in the lab. The ride yesterday was fun, though. (No, no acronym girls to report on. :p ) A big turnout (someone counted 27 people) and a nice hilly metric with a mix of chatty riding and hammering. I doubt next Sunday will have nearly that turnout. Unfortunately, planning for lots of climbing kind of limits interest. And I'm not a female organizer. (Duh!) That probably isn't helping things.

I'm tring to figure out how I'm going to get to Ann Arbor tomorrow. The freeways are a construction cluster****, and once you get there the city is a maze. Normally it should be a 45 minute drive, but I'll leave 2 hours before start time. Out the door at 5:00 am, again:(

My arse. I just spent the whole night curled up in my bed half frozen and unable to sleep. And now my feet hurt.... :(
I'll probobly ride down to the safeway type store and pick up some gatorade...
Not to mention I've got to head down to the bike shop to pick up:
Derailleur Hanger
Chain Scrubber
Chain Whip
Lockring Tool
and if I have money left over, tools to get the crankarm/rings off. And that's if they have it all in stock.
I want to get my entire drivetrain cleaned and "serviced" before I go out buying the SRAM set up I'm almost dreaming of. If I can get this one to work well *enough*, why waste money.
Me also wants a mavic wheelset but no... not cheap.
You get buggered in your sleep too mate?

Buggered? Not really sure what you mean by that, but my room was freezing and the heater was practically broken. :(

SPAM is good stuff. Try slicing and frying it up as a substitute for bacon and sausage. It's good w/ pancakes and waffles cuz the sweetness of the syrup offsets the SPAM's saltiness.

Sounds a bit perverse.
I'm debating between having a ham sandwich, PB&J, clam chowder, leftover lasagna, clam chowder, or whatever for lunch.

Forgot to say, I got a job with week. Were getting paid minimum wage, to clean out this garage and completely clean the patio. Then were having a patio sale.
As you can tell this job is huge for 2 people :D

Pretend it's some old lady that's moving out of your ward. If you do it right, you can have the good feeling of having done a service project, plus enjoy the benefit of having a little change in your pocket. :D

I'll stick with freezing my arse off... :(Where on earth are you? This summer's been record high. I'm assuming if you go to the Safeway and drink Gatorade, you're from the USA, so are you on top of a mountain, or what?
It's 108 with the humidex here right now - probably the only work day ever where I'm not looking forward to going home.
I've been super busy today - super, super, busy. I need a nap now.

I've been freezing my arse off all day as well. We had a HUGE rain storm come in and now it is still a little overcast outside. Not hot, but not cold either. Except in my office where it is always like a walk-in refridgerator.
I just made myself waffles. First I poured too much batter in, and it began to spew out of the waffle maker. o.o

But I'm eating it, I am. :( YUCK.
Not much time for Foo recently... Team Hormones' Tour de Sugar Shorts threads generate more posts than I can keep up with. Team Hormones is the blending of SoCal Team Estrogen and SoCal BikeForums. Stage one of the Tour was last Sunday. Stage two will be this Saturday.

See what you do is, you wear a tight sweater to work tomorrow. Then you take pictures of yourself, and post them on the interweb. The heat generated by all of the men who take witness should be enough to warm the entire planet.

I seem to be coming down with a cold which I must have gotten while at U of M. Hope its not meningitis:eek: Anyway, whatever it is, it seems like just a cold, so I'm about to go run it off.
