In lesser news I found out earlier today that a month long job I was supposed to do with my summer time job has been canceled. I will likely be layed off in the next week, and I'll be back to making half what I am now. That and the fact that I found out my insurance would go up by a grand if I got a muscle car officially ends the possibility of getting a Camaro this year. With the way the Michigan economy is going and how hit or miss the construction jobs are here, I just can't justify the expense.

What I will do is build up my Crown Vic by ripping some 3.55 gears and a limited slip diff off a junkyard Mustang GT, installing a cold air intake and chip, a shift kit, underdrive pulleys, and some shorty headers with a 3" X pipe. Should be good for 280 horsepower or so. You can't always get what you want, but I'll be getting what I need.:)

btw - update on "As the Lens Turns"

If our last episode FIL was all up in arms because we'd decided to stick with the wife of the pair of eye doctors that are divorcing and he's with the husband - FIL basically hates women and thinks we're all useless. So we went for our appointment and she said that DLO needs glasses - and I needed glasses. FIL called and asked about the appointment and we told him and he said that we needed to see the husband to see what he says because the woman doesn't do her job properly and yadda yadda yadda. I told him AGAIN that we saw no reason to change eye doctors because they're having personal problems. So what does he do?

Got a call the other day to confirm the appointments that he made for us at this other doctors office. I canceled the appointments and called FIL and he said that he couldn't leave DLO's eye health up to me because I clearly wasn't thinking straight! *Yeesh* Men!
