Good Morning all, Getting ready to work (volunteer) at the Japanese Festival. Be there by 10, off by 10. But I'm going to try to sneak off early this year. I work in the raffle ticket booth and naturally, we are raffling off a mtn bike. Not sure which one they are sending though.

They do - but most Canadians in this area tend to pronounce things much like people in southern Michigan would. The only real difference is in this area is that milk comes in bags.

About last night, my lips are sealed. Coworkers are going out drinking tonight to celebrate one of our coworkers moving on to a "real job". Stage three of the Tour de Sugar Shorts is tomorrow morning. I've asked one of the other riders to check on me to make sure I'm up at 4:20 AM tomorrow.

Getting angry at person the next workcell over, who is blasting techno from his speakers. It's like the tracks get more and more annoying as they progress....the last one had at least two minutes of this annoying bloated boming....now he has some track that sounds like someone is dragging metal shelving units across a smooth concrete fllor, and it's grabbing the floor.

Really, I do not see why "techno" is even popular...it's annoying. Death metal is more relaxing than that stuff.

edit: ok, now the track is doing the stereotypical "thump thump tss tss" thing....really why does it all sound the same.

....wow, the dude turned it down...I can now hear my radio again.

I just picked up a new superduper awesome seatpost for my fixie. My bike is now 10x awesomer than it was 2 hours ago.

Whee, Kool-Stop BMX pads are incoming for my folding bike! Finally, stopping power at last!

I also picked up a shaving brush stand (speeds up drying), and a better shaving strop...I am now good enough with stropping my razor that I am no longer slicing up my cheapo, plus the cheapo isn't doing a very good job anymore, with how bad I scarred it up...so time to get a decent one.

...and there is about 2 weeks to go until my carton of Blackblack gum arrives....gummy caffeinated goodness :D

Got 16 miles worth of paved trail riding in this morning in scenic Palos Park Illinois with a mate from work. Wife is at my sister's baby shower...I'm with my little one (2 year old boy). Later my whole side of my family is having a barbeque at my parents house...its a gorgeous day! 75, sunny and slight breeze in south suburban Chicago.

being bored and wondering why i'm so tired. i took the entire last week (the one before this one) off... until the friday before last... i actually felt good that day.... then i rode my bike and felt like **** again... and my legs started hurting again... in a twangy ache-y way that just ain't quite right... and i still feel like ****. :/

I think you need to drive to arlington and go to 6 flags over texas.:)
