very early morning foo! up at 5am so i could get ready for my ride into work today. 15mph winds. :( 15mi ride. maybe i'll get a tailwind. right.

oh well, HTFU.

*edit* gah!!!! it's still TOTALLY dark here. i guess i'm gonna have to wait a little while before i ride in. do not want to ride in the dark on 2-lane no shoulder roads!

Hmmm, don't remember the theater. Where was that?

I believe it's now the Starbucks/Waldbaums? they rebuilt it but originally it was a strip running parallel to Rt 25, set way back from the road, and the theater was in the center...very 1960s, nothing fancy just a boxy building. It eventually became a Blockbuster Video for many years.

I saw many films there as a kid, and then as a teen burned many a cigarette hole in my clothes falling asleep at 'midnight movies'

I didn't make it home from my gig last night. The storm got much stronger and I ended up staying at a friend's house in Syracuse. It looks like it's finally starting to subside now so I will be heading home soon.

Left at 4:40...made it just in time for an 8:00 start. Not the worlds greatest driving conditions....

i made it in to work just fine...had a lovely head/cross wind the whole ride. :( most likely it will be the same thing on the way home.

Longest week ever. Well, so far. It's 10:35 pm on Friday and I'm finally leaving the office... with stuff still to do on the weekend. Sigh...

No - the reason people curl is to drink beer. We were discussing after the game that there must be some law that every curling rink has a lounge above it....

It is fun, social and something different. Plus it's hard - stoopid tv just makes it look easy.

I wheeled my bike through the usual bunch of students on my way to my office ---- and managed to pick up/trail 5 students who needed to see me.

Ah am de offic-eee-al pied piper of students today!!

Have been flying around the building today and just now sat down to open my e-mail and find another onslaught of students with questions ...

And I know ... CAUSE IT'S MURPHY'S LAW ... this is all because I wanted to get out at noon or 1, now it looks like maybe 2 ... ish .....

I am doing better today. It's amazing what catching up on sleep will do for you. And I got the stupid iPod to connect to WiFi - yay!

I put up Christmas lights around my cube on Monday and now everyone around is starting to decorate theirs. It's looking quite festive here at work.

home after a great ride this afternoon...tacked on 30mi to the 15mi i had this morning...45mi total for the day. had a great tailwind at times, last stretch to the house, i was rolling at 28mph. nice.
