Foo - Whatcha doin'?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

First time I rode since it started storming and dumping on us Friday afternoon. Plows FINALLY did the side streets well enough to get through - yesterday they were 6"-12" of rutted snow and ice.
Oh and someone sent me this ----- FUNNY - and with bad language - and you may expect from a "young" Gordon Ramsey ...

landed at 1am CT in Mpls, yay! my guy insisted on picking me up - "I don't want a cab driver to be the first person that gets to see you"
Met my ma for the first time last night and spent the night, as the roads were getting snowy. She really likes him! hurrah.
today: last-minute holiday errands.
I am tapping my ruby red slippers together and saying "coffee and croissants, coffee and croissants, coffee and croissants." I am also prepared to be disappointed by Belinda the Breakfast Witch.

Some call it a bottle brush...but it sure would scratch the heck out of your bottles!
It's a spiral-wound wire brush. They're usually labeled by diameter, wire gauge and length. No need for anything beyond fine wire...we're just removing rust here, not trying to ream it out to the next size seatpost.
If it comes with a loop handle on the end, you can clip that off to chuck it into the drill. Good luck with the project WP. :)
It's not a ream :innocent: :p
Sounds like everyone has Christmas well under way, with Family and Friends circling up...

You are all invited to my house next year. Although it's raining today and "cold" at 53 deg. If that doesn't work we can all hop a plane to Hawaii. :D

That used to be my ex-husband and me as the built 4wheel jeep had a big winch on the front.
You all can come visit me. It's summer in December here.:D
Unfortunately you can't escape the holidays here either unless you go bush.

And get your head outta the gutter. It's starting to rot.

to really creep everyone out, you have to get a van and spray paint "free candy" on the side of it.http://www.bikeforums.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=89988&stc=1&d=1230059229

hehe - Her name is Cat (short for Catherine), first time I met her was Hallowen, she came into my bar dressed in a cat woman outfit - she crawled up on the bar and prowled down the entire bar. She had the guys mesmorized - and they would always ask thereafter if she was coming in.
When you guys mass to NY, I'll have to share with you the story when she had just had a breast enhancement and she came into show me ... :innocent:

The good news is...Wolf Creek got 27" of fresh powder over the last 24 hours, in town we have about 1.5'.
The bad news is that Wolf Creek Pass is closed.
Due to this I'd like to pre-answer some common questions:
No, I have no control over the weather, nor do I have any way of knowing the up to minute progress or scheduled opening of the pass.
Saving money by not buying goggles and wearing sunglasses to ski while it's snowing will be compensated in agony.
No, we have no idea what the conditions or services are on the other side of the pass. We have our hands busy enough with maintaining an encyclopedic knowledge of our own towns services, what other vendors are carrying and for how much, as well as restaurant ratings, local entertainment, and an entire plethora of services and activities entirely unrelated to bikes or snowboards in any fashion whatsoever.
When asking for discounts, please keep in mind that on my side of the deal, discounts are a loss. I don't have much motivation to help you have me lose money.
I'm currently eating dinner as I think of what's going to happen within the next 48 hours. Tonight, I have my finals for my karaoke competition to win a trip to Vegas and I have a pool match prior.
Tomorrow night, I'm going to be making dinner for Justin and a couple of my brother's friends. I decided to make pepper sirloin steak with palsied potatoes and steam vegetables. For dessert, apple pie with ice cream. I still don't know what to do for an appetizer.
I found out what I'm going to do for an appetizer. I'm going to make a serving of bruschetta.
