Foo - Whatcha doin'?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Open Pros? I love my Open Pros.
I just finished treating myself for a terrible sinus migrane. Took a motrin and a cold shower/steam bath. Man, I hate those things. Note to self: check outside temp befor turning on space heater. I had no idea it was so unseasonably warm.:(
Feel better now, though.:)
I still feel a bit too much of a non-cyclist to feel comfortable posting in non-Foo type threads. :o But hopefully, if I get some riding in, I'll be back to riding form soon.
Join us for the New Years Day ride. 9 am. Same route and pace as the Wolfpack Ride.

What!! That's terrible wp.
I'm back from my ride. 74 miles, solo, about 5 hours. I'm slow, but that's ok.
Felt pretty decent, started getting a little tired about 65 miles in, but nothing too bad.

I'm just proud of the fact that there is a Wolfpack Ride.
One day I will have a ride named after me. It will involve eating hash brownies and riding around in circles dressed as mimes.

I'll be there racing. My club (NCSU cycling) puts that one on. I'll also be working some probably, since it's ours.
Where do you find upcoming races? I'd like to plan my season, but USAC website only shows me CX races right now. Rather annoying. I want to be able to pick out races.

{edit] A downhill mtb mime race with brass sounds more better.

seat tube is whacked up because the guy didn't know what he was doing when he hacksawed the stuck seatpost out! the frame is bent as well. lugs on the top tube at seat tube/head tube are off...don't line up.
so, i'm gonna keep the fork, headset, bb, cranks for future use. maybe just get one from bikesdirect....

damn......you should throw it up on CL (with full disclosure) I bet you make some dough on it. If we wuz neighbors I'd give you the $25 and just ride it into the ground. Somebody else will too - those frames have big fans, I assure you.
you'll find another frame no sweat.:)

you could ask $50...45? you paid $25, so even if someone offered that you did ok.... I bet it sells fast. I'd keep the parts if you think you might want another old frame like that (quill stem, etc.)

Also hoping I didn't screw up too badly and hurt someone's feelings due to a misunderstanding. :(

I just got back from the 9th circle. I bought some pants last Sunday, and they alter the length to suit the customer, so I had to pick them up this evening. While I was in the bowels of Hades, I also bought a more casual pair of pants and a belt. If I ever again state that I'm thinking of going to the mall, for the love of God, someone please stop me.
