But have you given him your phone number? How's he to call if you haven't? Of course, he'd first have to turn his phone on, too.
Haha! He never asked. Nobody ever asks. No friends, no phone calls. :D

You're making me hungry. No chicken in the leftovers that I still have. But there's some roast duck. :)

Just got back from bowling. Played three games and got a 139, 165, and 144. That's pretty good for me, I'm usually happy just breaking 100. Since I switched over to a 10 pound ball from a 12 or 14, my scores have gotten a lot better.

I like using the 8 lb ball and going for distance when I bowl. :D

I'm like you... just happy to break 100. Haven't bowled for years... just do so sporadically whenever friends are out bowling.
Starting to think about eating dinner since jyo mentioned chicken earlier.

I made chicken stock last night while making dinner too so today I boiled some of the stock down to about 20% original volume and made creamy chicken sauce for pasta and veggies. Then I knocked off the rest of the Fossil Fuel.

I want ice cream again. I sit here in pain, my bulging disc is bulging. I took a vicodin~ Yep. My happy pill. Yesterday I installed a set of stair assists on my car. So today when I came home, I looked at them and admired how they really accent the car, (plus they help alot). Then my eyes wandered up to where my GPS antenna is and.................IT'S NOT THERE AGAIN!!!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!! Then I remembered that I didn't put it on yet.....
*sigh* Another Merton moment.

Same here. I usually don't buy ice cream, and when I do, I'm usually a Haagen Dazs guy, but my parents were shopping with me (hadn't gone shopping in the absence of a car since the store across the street now closes at 8 since it's liquidating its inventory and closing down). My mom suggested I get ice cream, and B&J happened to be on sale, so B&J it is.

Well, that's a leftovers kinda dinner for me. Last night's fettucine alfredo w/ grilled chicken was an Olive Garden type meal cuz I saw the commercial and felt like eating that. And I'll probably get some fresh tuna on Tuesday and grill it nice and rare and serve it w/ a stock reduction sauce. Haven't figured out the sides yet though. Maybe braised bok choy w/ hoisin sauce.
My dad just called to confirm the desired options on my car before signing paperwork. :) He should be able to pick up the car mid-week (it's not on the lot yet), and since I'll be home next weekend for a friend's piano recital (if anyone's in the LA area and without Saturday night plans, I highly recommend it!), I'll get it then.

:roflmao: Well, it'd save me the trip, but if you want to eat healthy, get some zucchini, yellow squash, mushrooms, garlic, olive oil, and smoked bacon. The garlic, smoked bacon and mushrooms basically give the dish a lot of flavor and mask the fact that you're eating mostly vegetables and pasta. Also, if you mix bacon and mushrooms into something like a spinach salad, it give it a "meatier" flavor, again masking the fact that you're eating mostly vegetables.

Yup, although I think he should go w/ the black BMW, but if silver's all they got, I guess that'll have to do. But everyone knows black is the faster color. ;)

Jyo, did you ever own a black car? Pain in the kahooza, I tell ya. You wash it, dry it, look back to admire it, and poof! It's dusty again. And let's not talk about hair line scratches. Never again, will I get a black car.

My car's dark blue and I park it in the street. I don't even wash it except when I get a free car-wash with my oil change. It's got scratches, taxi cab yellow dents from where cab doors hit it, someone even scratched their initials in the deck lid. The side view mirrors are held on w/ duct tape. I just said black cuz silver and beige are kinda boring and arrest-me red makes the insurance even higher.

My mind is thinking again about the metallic orange I wanted on my bike. I was thinking of putting some accents on my bike to make is less boring but I don't know where to place them. Any ideas?

Four-door sedan. I know what you mean about black cars. My Focus was black. My family's 3000GT was black. Through the years, our lighter-colored cars have aged much more gracefully visually than the darker-colored ones.
Not that I had much a choice about color. You have no clue how hard it can be to get a 330i with a manual and without options bloat. Last night, my parents and I were discussing at length options for how we might tide over a 10-week wait (the wait time when my sister ordered her manual 325i) for a special order. We were going to take it in any color as long as the options list looked reasonable.
EDIT: By the way, the reason my Focus was black was because though I ordered silver, we missed the cut-off for special ordered '01 models by a few hours. The dealership found me the only Focus they could find equipped the way I wanted in that part of the country, shipping it in from another state, and then offered that one to me. Not the color I wanted, but with no chance to get the one I wanted (would pay more for an '02), it had to do. They did reduce the price another $150 to help make up for the color.

Outline the Kona decals in metallic orange. Vicodin kicked in?
On the 330i, I vote for black.
There is no other color.
I think it's likely I will own nothing but black cars for the rest of my life.
:)
By the way, jyo, do you have a family? The way you cook, I'll happily act as an adjunct son for whenever you feel the need to have more people at the dinner table. :)
My parents are great (not just because of car), but they certainly aren't great cooks. My mom's mom had to show her how to cook rice on the day before she got married. My mom's gotten better in recent years, though, now that she has more free time on her hands since she doesn't work quite as hard as before. In fact, she now will occasionally vacuum pack some foods she does a particularly good job on (using equipment at my aunt's gourmet Chinese food store) and ship them to my sisters who are farther away. The one in Los Angeles and me, well, we just pick the food up from home.
My Korean friends, not knowing where the food came from, once ate my mom's Korean barbeque beef and thought it came from a nice restaurant. And I tend to not like to take food back down to San Diego with me, but I won't pass up my mom's beef noodle soup.

I'm 3 time zones away and don't have a vacuum sealer so I doubt the food'll be good by the time it gets to you. Besides, cooking's just a matter of controlling chemical reactions and mixing different chemicals together to make something tasty so it should be something you're good at. ;)
I'm too lazy to be a particularly good cook. Yes, I tell people that I'm just allowing the "natural flavor" of the food to come out and "not covering it up", but in reality, I'm just being lazy.
For example, when I cooked for my ex-girlfriend, dinner would take about 20 minutes to prepare while she took a short nap. Put salmon fillet on aluminum foil and in oven turned on to 325 (not bothering to preheat), separately boil some water with a pinch of salt, separately cook some rice in a rice cooker. Set alarm for ten minutes, take a nap. Cut some asparagus and place it in the now boiling water. Set alarm for ten minutes, take a nap. Take salmon out of oven, drain asparagus, place food on plates, wake up girlfriend.
I've been told (in the sig test thread) that word in the female community spreads quickly about males who can cook, so I now try to take a bit more care with my cooking when others have to eat it.
Speaking of food... finishing up dinner now. Dinner was all the remaining leftovers my mom had brought down.
I wonder what i am doing in chemistry tomorrow. LOL look what people have had to say on my chemistry class with my teacher... haha (http://www.ratemyteachers.com/schools/texas/dallas/jesuit_college_prep_school/faith__iverson)

Me and 3 other guys went up montara mountain yesterday. They are so slow it took twice as long as usual. We ended up getting back at dark. We went to chinese buffet, and pigged out. Whenever were tired from something we allways do chinese buffet, its like a rule. Anyways afterwards we got the brilliant idea of egging our friends car. So we egged it, and I put tooth paste under all the handles. After I dropped 2 people off, me and another dude went back with more eggs. The neighbor came out and started yellin at us while we egged the car again. Later that night I got a call from his mom, in which she was majorly pissed. Today in the morning we went over and cleaned up the shells and left a note with a poem on it. The first few lines of the poem went like this:
Ye we did indeed egg thy car,
but we wanted ye to know how truly sorry we are,
etc(I can't remember how we finished it)
anyways, she forgave us(my friends mother) and its all good.
