If it makes you feel any better, when your head slumped on the keyboard it didn't hit "enter" so as to post it here and make you look real stupid....:)
This is the Ultimate Showdown, of Ultimate Destiny,
Good guys, bad guys, and explosions
As far as the eye can see.
And only one will survive,
I wonder who it will be.

I have no earthly idea. Perhaps becuase I'm showing a bit of ankle?
If the mods find this in poor taste, let me know, and I shall un-cross my legs.
We're gonna let it slide this time. Maybe she has a thing for Paul Newman in The Sting.

Just learned that this is a 3-day weekend. Hoo-ray. I've been needing to catch up on my sleeping in.
Drinking my first cup of at work coffee and thinking about what I have to do today before I can leave. Also thinking about getting to take my 5 year old son to see my old high school play football tonight. It will be his first real sporting event.

just woke up, feeling a little hungover, will probably go back to bed soon, then walk the dog, then do random things, then i'll go do some pre-game festivities before the rolling stones concert tonight. should be a good time.

Yeah, give Wade any type of food or drink and it will be on you! Dogs and rootbeer all around!

Naw, no reason for a nap. Nothing steadys your nerves like vicodin.
I wish I had some now, but I used all mine up a long time ago.

You do that, too? I thought I was some sort of freak -- every time I get really tired, I start twitching all over, starting with my legs.
Just got back from a fantastic dinner with my dad, which followed a 25 mile ride. I thought I had become tired of Peking Duck, but this little restaurant we went to made me fall in love with it all over again. Mmmmmmmmm.....
After dinner we went for some scotch, and now I'm feeling very warm and happy :)

I wish I had some duck meat. Only problem is I didn't pay the extra 15 bucks for waterfowels on my small game license.
mmm....waterfowels...they'd eat you if they had the bloody chance.

Must resisist obvious pun...
Maybe it was the same goose that left my knee scarred...freaking gooses.
I'm contemplating a job offer in East Lansing, Michigan. My only hesitation is how far away it is from my family. This is the furthest West I've ever been. I'm chicken ****. Hey, all you Michigan-type people! Y'all are nice, right? Can anyone tell me what E.L. be like as far as traffic, bike trails, and overall safety-ness?

I wish I could say "A goose once bit my sister", but I regrettably cannot. A goose did, however, once attack my father during a morning jog. It landed on his shoulders and started beating him about the head with its wings.

TGIF everyone! does everyone have a long weekend due to the holiday?
Thanks BDG! It's my cousin's bike that she doesn't ride much so she lent it to me while I was visiting. Forthwith is the list of stuff I had to do to ride it:
1. Change the seat from a springy super cushioned monstrosity to a $3 cheapo I bought at an LBS that originally came off a Jamis. It was a slight improvement.
2. Adjust the front and read ders. cuz both would throw a chain if shifted too far. Both were friction shifters.
3. Adjust the brakes so they actually worked.
4. Adjust the saddle height w/ a screwdriver cuz a hex wrench would just strip the stupid seatpost collar bolt.
5. Tighten the saddle nut multiple times cuz the bolt was bent and would flip up whenever I went over a bump. Kept me on my toes.
6. Get some cheapo frame pump, bottle cage and saddle bag and flat kit cuz no way am I riding in Fla. heat w/o water or a patch kit.
7. Move the shifters so they weren't stabbing my hands.
8. Tightened pedal after it unscrewed itself.
Oh well, it's a Walmart bike so I couldn't expect it to be any good. Even the freaking rims were steel. The only thing that worked properly was the kickstand.

Noooooo bed! What, you think you're in some "special" time zone or something? Get over it. ;)
