Foo - Whatcha doin'?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
There's still that issue of no profit, no sales, and no business model...

listening to the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack and drinking a Pyramid Hefe Weizen ale.
So what happened?
Maybe I'll post a more in depth story later when I have the time. But it did involve running around walmart at 2:00 a.m. with plungers stuck to our nipples. ;)

Man, you're already in TMI land, there.
I'm burning stuff and thinking about what to eat. Just had a fine, fine Sapporo.:D
Ok, here it goes. Went back home for the weekend. Did absolutely nothing Friday night. Saturday night, I went bowling with my friends and got to see our local band play. (Most of the guys in the band were friends in my class). Then at about 1:30 a.m. we drove to a nearby town to hit up walmart, speeding and racing the whole way. Caused trouble in the walmart: Sticking plungers on our chests and stomachs and running around. One of the guys working there took our picture on his cell phone and was going to put it as the background for all the display cell phones. Bought some food and ate it in the parking lot. Had shopping cart races. Drove the electric shopping carts around the store. Lots of other fun stuff I can't think of at the moment. Then at about 2:30 a.m. we all dispersed and went home. But I was too hopped up on caffeine and couldn't fall asleep till about 4:30 or 5:00 a.m. Had a birthday party for one of my friends today. Lots of fun stuff, etc. Then drove back to school. That was my weekend, woo!
Haha! You used "Value, level playing field, and strategizing" in the same same sentence as Web 2.0. Am I the only one without rose colored glasses and the ability to recall the last 6 years? Because Google just spent $1.65 billion on a website that makes ZERO profit. And the sellers got paid in Google stock? It's not exactly Monopoly money, but the deal itself will probably lower the value of their shares. Might as well have accepted gold at $700/oz.
I actually wrote that sentence to make fun of the mindnumbing jargon I was wrestling with all day yesterday. It was originally a vague description of what I was actually doing (writing executive blurbs) but I felt the need to stick in Web 2.0 to keep the buzzwords current. Heck, I don't even know what Web 2.0 means, though I get the feeling that I'm somehow involved in it :D.

There's still that issue of no profit, no sales, and no business model...I would be interesting to see how Google will make money from YouTube... Perhaps insert subliminal advertising frames every couple of seconds in the videos??? They could probably make a deal with the movie-studios to offer pay-for-download movies? Apple's starting to do that with their iTunes... rename it iTube? Not to be confused with Teletubbies...
Hey Stacey, how was the flea market?
Picked up a cute little glass mouse figural for the collection. We have over 3000 different rat/mouse pieces in all different mediums. Even one made of chocolate! :)
I passes on a brand X short scale bass guitar priced at $35, it was black and black guitars just reek of cheep IMHO.
Oh, and we got rid of all our fleas too!

Strippers and drugs, you say?
I never understood the whole stripper thing. If you're gonna give someone money to shake their body parts in your face, you might as well get some sex out of it, too. Hookers and coke, on Eboo!
Crap, you know, when I posted that, I TOTALLY meant to say hookers. I'm just trying to budget...2 grand doesn't go very far these days. Uptown or downtown...I suppose I'd better figure in a doctor visit and antibiotics for next week, too.

Cheap hookers are only 20 bucks. But afterwards your gunna need some std tests and rabies shots.

I can go through $2000 in a weekend so I say we budget as tight as we can. Downtown. And see if we can get into any free clinics afterward.

Peh. That's only for a BJ, and unless s/he has visible oral herpes, you're safe.

what else would you want?
Unless you want to go where every man has gone before of course.
Uh HI everyone. I think I came into this thread today LATE. HOOKERS/STRIPPERS UH-OH.
Don't worry, snowy. They're on me today! I have a grant, explody and I are going to blow it on on drugs and hookers. You wants in?

Nope I don't have any requests at this moment. If I need anything I'll give ya call. :)
Uggghhhh, I haven't gotten enough sleep lately. I could pass out right now if I wanted to. Hey explody, does your dealer have any caffeine pills? Maybe I can crush them up and snort them...

Wear as little clothing as possible. Especially if it's cold out.
This advice, obviously, only works for women.

I had a brush with greatness at work today.
This lady and guy came in and I was chatting with them. I asked them where they worked.
The lady said, "he used to be a dentist, but he holds the patent for Billy Bob Teeth, so we don't have to work very much any more."

As in cheap, not just all-around camping online store. Cheap.

Online store. 2nd sentence referring to it usually being the cheapest place to find gear.
But I forgot about Campmor. They usually have some pretty good deals.

Aside from the ones mentioned, check out rei outlet, mec.ca and ems.com. Also Bass Pro and Dick's Sporting Goods depending on what you need.
Just finished grilling some chicken cutlets marinated in balsamic vinegar. Roasted a red pepper and scraped the skin off too. Should be enough to make lunch for the rest of the week. Made a grilled chicken sandwich w/ mozzarella, roasted red pepper, lettuce, tomato and prosciutto on rosemary bread.
