Nice. I have one around here somewhere...
In the middle of a huge battle in P&R. I took a break so that my opponent can have a chance to reload.
I believe in chivalry and honour, that sort of thing.
Javna is nothing more than a racist troll. I would love to see him fall into a thermal spring.

That's all in your mind, sadly.
Are you implying that I have a mind - because I most certainly do not.
I'm confused. Not about girls this time. (Shocking, huh?)

Cool, I owned a Yashica years ago. Someones little brother tore it apart though.
I'm hoping I won't have to tear this one apart. But there's bound to be something wrong with a 38 year old camera.

The Lynx 14e or is it a different model? This'll be my first 35mm rangefinder.

It's official - I over exerted myself last Saturday and now I am favoring my right foot whenever I walk or climb stairs.

I'm feeling depressed. For the first time since I was old enough to go out I don't have the time or money to go deer hunting. School is more important right now, and having been living off my savings since the summer I can't justify the expense anyway. Tomorrow is opening day. I'll be missing the early morning thunder for the first time in 5 years.

Wow, she is fast...and pretty, too!:) Don't blink, or you won't see who I mean.
AHHH! Now my ears are ringing more than they usually do. Got back to the house after going to the grocery store, and we were all standing around watching one of the guys trying to start his motorcycle when it backfires freaking loud as heck! And one of them almost started a fire in the garage with ether.

Sounds to me this dude needs some new spark plugs.
Needs new everything. It's an older Kawasaki Ninja he bought of ebay that he's been trying to fix up.

I'm still kind of a car noobie, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know backfiring or misfiring (same thing I believe) is typically caused by bad plugs and or wires. Misfiring is when the plugs fail to ignite the gas, raw fuel gets dumped into the exaust system, and then it blows up. Misfiring destroys catalitic converters and engines. Its a lot cheaper to replace or gap the plugs and the wires if they are damaged than to get a new exaust system and rebuild or replace the engine.

Probably not fuel-injected if it's older. Yeah to what michigander mentioned.
What a lot of guys do is to open or pump the throttle before starting and that's not really needed. This does however, dump a squirt of fuel into the cylinders and may actually make starting harder. You wet the plugs, prevents them from sparking and a lot of raw liquid fuel goes out the tail pipe. After a while, it finally evaporates in the muffler and you've got a bomb in your exhaust just waiting to go. Finally the bike catches after the extra fuel is flushed out and when that hot exhaust dumps into the muffler with the volatile mixture waiting, <BOOM!!!>
Tell them not to open the throttle, use the choke instead.
BTW - I've actually seen a guy destroy his muffler like this. Blew off the end of it and it had that flared-out flower look to it like you see in the failed coyote experiments with Acme Products ....

He looks JUST like my older brother in that picture. Except my brother always kept a low-cut.
It's amazing how asian some Hondurans (Latinos) look. Some people say it's the land-bridge connection.

45 minutes left at work. I've been shopping today and ordered wayyyyyy too many bike parts. I'll be losing something like 2 lbs on my mountain bike, though! :D Oh why did I have to work at a bike shop?!

Haha, I was actually going to say that he looked a bit like my older brother too! :) However my brother didn't look Asian...more Latino or Native American. :) Hey, we do have Cherokee in our blood. ;)

It's probably best not to ask mom about that. You didn't have seafood for dinner soon after he was lost, did you?
You look kinda like my older brother there too...its probably the abundant amount of black hair... :)

Hey Jason! we did have a wonderful trip. Got to go out a bit in the Big D (Dallas). Went to Richardson Bikemart and picked up a jersey for my collection (goal: jerseys from places I visit). Saw the folks in Austin and spent many many hours in the car. good thing I had a good travel mate.

You're gonna have to take some pics of your jersey collection and show us some time...that sounds like a cool collection.
Jason...you're a mod now????

Ha ha! KT, my jersey is not very big now as I just started this tradition on my trip to Hawaii this summer. so the collection is at a whopping 2 now (one from Kona-where they run the iron man) and then this one from the Big D.
Jason?! nice star, dude! I ESPECIALLY like the signature! congrats on the mod status.
